bugger not exspensive just an arse of a job then

as the tittle says its defo blue smoke which worries me :confused4: , it only does it when warm, if i boot the car and load it up i get no smoke, if i drive gentle i get no smoke if i coast up to a junction pull away hard or softly i get one big puff of blue about 25% of the junctions then its gone. is this crank case pressure building up or do you think i have another problem thanks :help:

keep it! use mine daily with a 2.5 year old and its fine. plus she likes to pretend to drive it on the drive. its all about getting them interested when their young lol

yeah they are only 7x16. ok mate will do, cant decide wether to sell or not but i know if i am honest i will go back to alloys next year but i doubt it will be the nothelles unless i go skiny tyres (which may look silly) and fully polish them.

i take it your not keen on the steels then lol. i still have them at the mo. like i said before they are just to skiny for the corrado.

yeah they are 16 inch beetle steels, gonna go with the creamy grey colour as tempting as orange was lol.

lol cheers mate, know what you mean when ever me and the corrado fall out i always come back lovin it more. sneaky pic of new wheels well wheels turned up but was not keen on the colour so i trial fitted them anyway. i have now pulled the tyres off gonna get them blasted and repainted. gonna put the front tyres on the rear wheels and buy some 195 for the front. it should all be ready ish next weekend

thanks for the pics mate. new wheels, camber shims and spacers will be here this weekend so she should look quite different before the corrado meet!

cheers guys, feel like a bit of a prat but had a play before i brought the new battery and it appears the battery terminal clamps were done up but not actually clamping so redone them and started first time this am. so fingers crossed i got away with it. thanks again for the comments.

pressed my hazard switchat it only just lit up and flashed thats what made me think battery. hope its not the ignition cant be bothered trying to get one and change one lol

drove my car last night fine, woke up this morning keys in ignition lights on then click click nothing did not turn over. nothing was left switched on. can a battery just give up over night?? or any other solutions before i go and buy a battery tonight. thanks adam

hi was just wondering if anyone knew the part number for the gasket that goes between the engine and the thermostat housing. just got a feeling my local vw dealer will look at me blank faced if i try to describe it lol thanks

well the team 280 is on. i forgot how nice they were. also the debadged grille is on, was unsure at first but its growing on me, will get pics up when i am home.

lol cheers guys did not think i would hear people saying the skirts are not that bad lol, i know what you mean they are not to in your face but would rather they were not there lol gonna pick up a late grille to have a look as it wont hurt.

nah i got the nothelle's on a mk3 vr that i swapped for my caddy van off freddyem (i think) on E38, they were only going on for edition38 weekend but they are still on there now lol. dont worry the LM's are not coming anymore gotta get rid of the mk3 shell as all is sold now then i can play with the corrado a bit more. thanks for the comments

cheers they are definatly a marmite wheel, some love em some hate them there is no in between. just a shame they are not a bit wider.
