G60 - thanks I think I'll do that. Remember checking the full boost output on the MFA when there was a thread with a link to the conversion of MFA no's to actual boost in PSi,at the time my car came out well under (2-3psi under)what the guide suggested a new stage 4 with 68mm pulley should do......I put it down to accuracy of MFA and the diff. degrees of Jabba's work on individual charger porting. Could it have meant I have a leak or does the MFA take the output direct from the Charger so no leaks can alter the charger output? Cheers (hope im not confusing you too much)

G60 - if im reading the thread right, you say you gain 1-2psi by junking the carbon canister? Or is that just if its leaking? I thought the only benefit from junking is if you want to mount the air filter in the wing for better 'breathing' ?

if youve hit a kerb with any force you could have done damage to just about anything in that area - Id get it checked out pretty quickly. (remember years back when I went round an unfamiliar country lane in my old GTE.....car held the road just but smacked the rear wheel on the kerb after the corner.........new rear beam,stub axle allsorts of damage!!!)

29,30 in March Ist car @ 17 was a Morris Marina 1.8 Coupe......remember the old green thing well....shame it was not the TC model....followed by countless Ford Cortina's.....one of them being a 1.6 auto ghia that made the Corrado look good on fuel!

I always liked the Fireblade, 2000 yr onwards in red & black ! Got rid of the bike when my best mate had a nasty crash on his Y2k R1,bikes r nice but a bit of a risk!

IMO........ten grand is a lotta money to pay for a Corrado,great though they are you could get a whole host of german quality for that.....merc,bm etc

i need one of these,after checking the vw price they were over £100 so Im kinda leaning towards GSF at £50 but they list two types? Does it make a lot of diff. spending loads on a performance one when the over engine mounts are standard and pretty old - would not have thought so myself so I think I'll look for what I think is the best value (not that any bit of rubber at that price can be described as good value!)

if I can make the day I'll be up for it,looked at Stealth's website and they seem to be pretty good! Like the look of the 2 litre bottem end conversions! Have any days been suggested yet ?

hub nut.....thats the nut in the centre under the dome right?........sounds ok apart from getting that off ! Gotta get round to getting a Haynes manual........normally spend my lunch on reading up for free in Halfords about any tasks I need to do,normally how to get trim etc off.....lol Cheers for the advice,Ill give it a go if I can sort out the tool for the hub nut

gutted.....washed and waxed the Corrado on saturday for the National Day on sunday and noticed more grease on my nearside wheel than in the cv boot itself!........not making any noise so I should be able to get away with just replacing the boot and greasing up,had a look with the wheel off and was stuck as to how to start it? Any ideas or should I stump up the garage cost of circa £53 for labour only? Cheers

seems to be open for CC members only.........thats a real shame,at the time i was gonna join either CCGB or ClubGTI but after looking at each site nothing seemed to be happening on the CC so i went for the Club GTI membership......only my opinion but why r all Corrado's not welcome,suspect there would be loads more.....

If there is not enough interest might be able to book it with less cars but including 'set-up' time on the rollers......just a thought as Id be very interested to see if my G60 is running lean!

Jetex system with a cat de-cat pipe,'pretty ordinary'........cheek!,its ok bought it cos its not too loud,not sure if id buy again though. Shame it did not come in outwardly rolled .............they look the nuts me thinks!

Black rear number plate surround is grey on mine,did your's come like that or did you spray it? Sprayed my front std grill to colour match and been wondering if I should spray the rear surround,think your cars made my mind up to have a go! :)
