  1. air-con rocks. when my 2 kids are jammed in the back this summer and we're stuck in traffic, i reckon i'll be happy as larry with the cool interior. just my opinion mind ;)
  2. gutted to hear of your off mate. hope you get the tax and stuff sorted. good luck buddy.
  3. i've got 5 1/4 inch infinity reference components in the doors with tweeters in the dash, and JL 6x9s in the parcel shelf. waiting for funds for an amp. you're never gonna get much out of the front though - it's just to balance the rears. with an amp and crossover, the small front components can handle the mids and highs more, with the oomph coming from the back. IMO mine sounds pretty good even without an amp and was fairly cheap off ebay
  4. as i thought. so adapters do both then. so, 50mm drop and spacers it is then! ;)
  5. is there a difference between adapters and spacers? generally.
  6. so they're totally cool then. no problems??? i had heard a story
  7. hi. i've seen a few lovely Cs on 15/16 inch wheels looking really low and wide at the rear, with stretched rubber etc. a sort of german look i guess. was wondering what width wheels you can go to in 15 or 16 inch, and how is this sort of set up for clearing arches etc. is much involved? do they also use spacers??? don't your wheels come off with spacers? ;) any info would be well appreciated.
  8. i'm lovin my black one triggermyson, just put one on the back as well. very cheap on ebay ;)
  9. yep. all bang up to date. must be me being a muppet
  10. i've decided i'm defo going to leave my rear lights on as everybody seems to hate them. excellent! i like to be different :) might try and adapt some beatle headlights or something as well (joke). seem to be a lot of people worried their headlights look old fashioned!
  11. i don't think service history is everything. a car may have been serviced at all the correct intervals, but had the sh*t ragged out of it for every single mile in between. i think condition of the car and HPI check are the really important things. and of course taking someone with you who knows shed loads about Cs. but i've had quality cars with no history, and dogs with full main dealer history, so it's all about the car as it is now. IMO. :) saying that, WALK if you aint happy. simple. GOOD LUCK MATE.
  12. my russian (?) aint too good and that vid won't play. any ideas please? i want to see it!!!
  13. i was thinking of coilies to go down about 50mm but it's not really possible unless i go with bigger wheels. i'll be forever scraping the floor. i'm thinking konigsports and a 40mm drop and then i can go bigger wheels when i'm minted at some stage and drop it further :)
  14. ok enough of your S7 / veyron tat. how about one of these? i reckon this is what vader would drive if he was earth bound (real) - in black of course.....
  15. maybe black? only joking. it's a lovely colour - and i'm not generally a green fan (well not THAT sort of green anyway) ;) do you think 30mm drop with the H&R springs is enough? i'm trying to decide what suspension to get
  16. dinkus, unless you have short fat sausages for fingers you'll be ok!! no probs reaching the stalks.
  17. personally i think he should make his own mind up on such matters. no offence meant to anyone, but he's got to do what he thinks is right.
  18. or you can have a bloke who comes out and changes your car back to 'looking' standard before any inspectors see it??? just a thought. i wouldn't condone such things ;) but it only takes a couple of minutes to whip an induction kit off and put the standard airbox back on for example......
  19. You will need a Momo hub adapter P/N 8014. Be aware that a 300mm wheel is very small. Lol...the top of the wheel is probably going to block your gauges Indeed - i can see sod all of my dials now! only the bottom sections where the needles never are ;) i can recommend 300mm though - just put your seat back a little bit more upright for a bit more leverage at high speed!!! it does make the steering feel fantastically direct though :)
  20. triggermyson, thats a lovely car mate. i have to admit to being a bit of a colour snob (black, black or black is best) but your motor looks stunning. and the speedlines really suit it. are you still keeping them on?
  21. triggermyson, that is indeed suede. imo it feels so much nicer than leather. also gives a much more 'racey' look which i like.
  22. GIXXERUK, thanks mate. seat belt holder is in the glove box. a wee bit of reassembling required :)
  23. Thanks for the comments everyone. I paid 3k with a warranty! :)
