  1. Would have thought the rears are relatively similar mate? Can't be much weight difference at the back?
  2. lol. have you read the writing mate? i love rados and alfas really :)
  3. Ooh is it out mate? I haven't seen it yet. What's the article like?
  4. Welcome :) 1. Use the search - one of the mods will say it in a minute anyway! ;) 2. I'd say to start: same as any other car. Just go on what you see in front of you on the day. Sure a service history etc is obviosuly good, but it's what's there now that counts. They're great cars and not too bad to run IF maintained properly. Got deep pockets? :)
  5. ooh bummer mate :( hope you sort it - you know where to come if ya need any bits! :)
  6. Yeah I totally agree mate. I just honestly think I can't sell the old girl completely, so was thinking of a long-term track project. The ultimate goal is fun - a tool. I'm not after lap times or anything. Unique is good too. It's a dub. Etc
  7. Ok I was just day dreaming a bit here..... 1. What about a rear wheel drive corrado for the track (not road legal) - can it be done? I'm guessing yes. 2. What about a rear engined corrado? (this question probably should have been first). 3. So assuming you're going to make a rear engined, rear wheel drive rado for the track only, could you pretty much use any engine? V8 for instance? What engine would you use? Would a rear engined, rear drive rado be horribly unbalanced, or a complete monster that would make you grin like a loon? :) Discuss.........
  8. Hehe.... maybe it'll put in a personal appearance at the Summer Scorcher. Especially if it's hot and I'm just wearing shorts....
  9. I think Mr Toad should put up a pic of his 'best side' :) 3 I was (un)lucky enough to see it in the flesh at the weekend!!!! lol :)
  10. I know nothing mr faulty, and i've managed for the last couple of years. And my rado has had just about every problem it's possible for a corrado to have! :)
  11. Save yourself loads of hassle mate... Go to wickes or similar and buy a flexible pipe repair kit. It's corrugated copper, so you just bend it back on itself and it fits perfectly. No cutting or soldering etc. It will definately take the heat and pressure.
  12. I'd start by swapping 3 and 5 leads round to check that. Then make sure anything else you unplugged is properly connected.
  13. The fan comes out just by removing the bit of trim under the glove box doesn't it? Mine definately wasn't a dash out job.
  14. You both seem to be in fancy dress too. What are the chances of a toad and a badger both dressing up as pandas! :)
  15. Mine too. My other car does one touch up and down, but I'm sure the rado is one touch down only.
  16. She looks fookin ace in the low-level perspective pics on page 27. Quality :)
  17. Mate that sucks. Your C is looking so blingin now too :( I personally would find the most expensive quote possible and demand the money or go to the police. It's well out of order. The other day I parked up in sainsbury's - right at the far side of the carpark with no cars around. As I was sat in the car this woman drives all the way across the carpark and parks right next to me! WTF!? People are bloomin wierd :)
  18. I think the water temp should rise quicker than the oil temp. Mine does anyway.
  19. I reckon one of the biggest killers of the vr engine is idiots like me ragging the nuts off them all the time! :) I had a funny conversation with my GF last night about how many engines I've killed over the years (and yes, i do look after them - ie, wait til oil is warm etc - it's just thatb I absolutely love wringing the neck out of a powerful engine. Lovely high rev action :) Alfa engine next :)
  20. Is that on standard speedlines mate? It shouldn't do that.
  21. I've got one for sale mate if you're interested? Velly good price iiingerleeshman :)
  22. You won't be dissapointed mate! It sounds cool as a cucumber. Nice and loud over 4000 or so revs/on fully open throttle, not too loud when crusing.
  23. CDA with the intake in the wing as mentioned above. Sounds good. Bit chavvy if we're honest, but I quite like that. I don't really do subtle :)
  24. You're just taking advantage of me now. My organs are worth at least £7.50 of anyone's money :(
