so clearly the thing that has increased the grip would be the wider TYRES then? so what tyres were you running before?
-
increased wheel width makes fek all difference. you need more rubber.
-
errrrrr..... how did grip improve by fitting smaller wheels mate?
-
mine's done 118k and it's pretty shagged mate :)

I looked at the alternatives from demontweeks Trig. Braided hose etc. But it was a load of hassle compared to going to the stealer for one, and besides, i still have a large parcel that demontweeks sent me by mistake that i've been meaning to return for about 6 months!

well they're not completely black obviously or they wouldn't work!!! as far as i know the reflecting capacity is just reduced, as is the lighting. maybe i just spoke to an unusally reasonable copper? they are out there aparently :)
-
me too. and there's only 2 of those fuel hoses left in the uk now cos i had the 3rd!
-
sell it and get a saxo?? :) or maybe a nice escort? sort ya self out mate - fix the matrix and start saving for the next bill :)
-
i reckon its legal/totally acceptable. a copper told me that they don't care as long as they're fairly bright at night. my rears were really badly painted black, very dark, and they didn't have a problem with them.

i wouldn't turn anything up to distortion level and then back it off again if i were you mate. you're kind of asking for trouble really, especially with car speakers which are relatively delicate. just my opinion though. generally speaking any power amp should be running at about 8 tenths. this should ensure fairly efficient running with any half decent amp. sounds like you've either blown the amp or triggered some sort of safety

Yep they're tinted I think mate. It's come up on here before. Looks very nice IMO but needs the fogs doing too
-
would it be allstage cylinder heads by any chance? he does em for loads of the tuners.
-
Yeah thats what i use to get the kids in ;)
-
you got some pretty small mates then Garry? A few mates in the back of a C??? :)
-
i could be very wrong, but i think you'll find the range of functions controlled from the head unit on those ones is limited. for example, it says 'on some bmw models you can browse through the ipod menu' or somesuch. i think most models on the market only do the basic controls, whereas the alpine does everything. probably wrong though edit - the cradles make me suspicious. if you can control it from the head unit, why would you want it on display in a cradle?
-
gotta be twin hasn't it, producing that kind of power? looks like it picks up quite well!
-
yeah baby!!!! abso-fekin-lutely mate. :)
-
holy cr*p! that should be adequate then? :)
-
I'd be suprised if my aircon set-up was even designed for a corrado! It's a total pig's ear under there. The day will soon arrive when it gets ripped out for more important things......
-
The alpine ipod adaptor gives you pretty much full control through your head unit mate. Mine just lives in the glove box and never comes out. Less than 200 quid now for a decent alpine head unit and the ipod adaptor. As far as i know most of the other makes don't give you the full set of control functions???
-
Have been struggling yeah. There's a slight chance i may have one off phat but it's provisionally sold and i'm first reserve :(
-
well you might. you just teasing people again mate? :)
-
Controversial - Which type of Corrado has the best sound?
