Is there any mods other than the grill, wheels and lowering? Was it best Coupe for its sparkling body or because of various mods?

Can you get Corrado rubber no slip boot mats. My mates just got on for his new Ibiza and its like having glue on the floor, nothing moves! Got his from Seat.
-
Thinking of getting one of those half car covers, that goes over the top and covers from the bottom of the windows up. Easier than de-icing the entire car every morn. Or is it? Anyone use these? Are they any good for frozen weather and is there good and bad versions? Cheers

Given he's in America, I doubt thats an issue!

£76 for the printout, then that again for adjustment if it needs it. Standard charge for VW's apparently.

My local one has just quoted me £154 (not sure about the VAT?)

They've just being cleaned well, still little scuffs on some and the rear drivers side is very scuffed. Just get em cleaned!
-
They did the speedlines. Was an external valet, not just a machine polish. All for £45! The guy that mat bought it off (he only had it a few months whilst his C was being sprayed) died of a heart attack I believe, aged 40. His wife left it 8 months before selling it.

If he's the guy that works at gsf then yes. I know he was called matt. Was at squires on thurs, as was I.

Guys came to me, give it a machine polish and wax/clean etc. £45 all in. Proper company not just a guy either, even had an apprentice with them. Just to give you an idea, the previous owner unfortunately died at the age of 40 and the car was sat outside his house for 8 months whilst everything was sorted, so the paintwork has being very neglected. Only blemishes on the car now are the rust spots/ding. If anyone wants their number/web address give me a pm. They do Leeds/Bradford/Keighley/York/Huddersfield and probably others too. They have a website.

So it can be done deliberately? Without eating more petrol?

Does it harm the car/Exhaust in anyway?
-
Going for an Exhaust soon, going down the usual study of the 11 page thread etc but one thing I'm wanting to ask is, whether it's possible to get an Exhaust that does that popping after you rev it hard and take your foot off. Like a rally car (obviously not as good as that!) reeeeeeeevvvvvv pop pop pop! What is it that causes the sound and more importantly, does it harm the car in anyway? Cheers

Will try to (poss tom). One thing I can tell you! My mechanic said he's never going to fit one of those again on that car cause it was a nightmare! Took him about 4 hours. G-Werks reckon on 3 hours labour but thats without the a/c in the way.

Got it fitted on Weds and have done enough miles in it to know that it makes a big difference to oil temps. Reached a max of 102c in stationary traffic (use to be 114c max). On the move it v rarely gets above 90c. Remember this is a VR6! It had to be placed there because the aircon condesor is infront of the radiator where you would normally put it. Very impressed with the results. Thinking of getting a switch controlled fan put on for the summer! 8)

EDIT- SITE HAS JUST BEING REDESIGNED - Just started it so it's only half there, but its the layout and front page I'm trying to get right before I start finishing the rest. It's just going to be about my C, no forum or anything, no point in trying to compete with this great site! Just wanted one of my own! http://www.thecorrado.co.uk Any thoughts/suggestions?

Nope, not got round to doing the loom yet. Might do the fuse thing.

Whats your power outpout now?
-
I've searched around but couldn't find this prob (ok, someones bound to find it in a sec now!) Basically, when I put my full beam on, all my lights go off! At least thats what it looks like from the inside of the car, could be going onto parking. I did noticed a day or two ago that when I flashed someone, one bulb was gone on full beam, but the other still flashed and dipped stayed on. Also, although prob unrelated, my indicators stop working after any where between 10 to 30 mins of driving! I'm replacing the stalk tomorrow (was going to anyway due to missing trim) so hope that solves it. Could these be related?

He said to me that the previous guy that got him up at 5am and came to see it from quite a way away just wanted it to break up. The AC doesn't work but am going to get it tested for £35 by a specialist who comes to you. If its fine and just needs a regas it'll be £65 all in. Hopefully theres no holes in the pipes or anything! Spent £450 on mechanicals after I bought it, pretty standard C stuff, and £320 on a Cat 1 alarm. Other than that its being fine.

She's just told me it's got a 'H' on the bonnet! Integra's the favourite I'd say!

You going to the meet on Thurs in Leeds? (Squires Cafe?)
-
Any luck with this?
-
Ow, my back is killing today! Wonder what I can do to it now!
-
She thinks it could be that. So much for 'I'll recognise it when I see it!'
