this made my day, seems like I was about 3 pages behind which is always a treat what you guys are doing shows a true passion towards the corrado because with all the time and money invested, you could buy an already fast, used car but why not be different? that's something that my friends will never understand and hope that one day i can realize this dream too keep up the good work!! [edit] sorry if this is a dumb question but how will you know for sure that the rear assembly will be perfectly alligned between the sides of the car without the syncro floor pan, maybe with many measurements taken between the axle and the rear arches?
-
I know this will get locked immediately.... perhaps not....

wouldn't expect to read stuff like this on a car forrum deffinently a mind opener, I wonder where this thread will lead to -
take a look at this, it might help you achieve the look you want without putting your rado....and you in danger  the ride belongs to a member of the CCC, no idea where he got the mirrors from though
-
in my opinion the red in the middle looks just stunning [edit] just realized how well the blue light blends in with the blue sub enclosure, deff go for red in the middle
-
If you don't mind me asking, what's the prize for winning? If they put the corrado in their next game because of you I will be speechless haha. I was giggling like a 4 year old when I found the Corrado in forza motorsport. Either way good luck, and good effort it certainly stands out in traffic.

patiently waiting to hear the answer to this one

sorry for asking another question on top of another, but are you guys saying that the central locking on the corrado doesn't work with a simple motor on each door but with air pressure pushing it up? if so that's really impressive because at cold temperatures those damn things love to burn out.
-
that's some good info, and I saw it the other way around

I am the only one who thinks the Corrado looks stupid.......

i noticed a lot of interest in the speed at which the spoiler goes up and down at, so this should help http://www.corrado-club.ca/mods/spoileractivation.html -
just thought I'd add that the oetinger front bumper is an extension to the original bumper as far as I know, therefore it isn't an RS bumper.
-
i see, no doubt about it too much headache for a small gain, it's probably easyer to starve yourself to death and loose weight than go for mk4 mounts.
-
I couldn't help but ask the question...if using mk4 mounts think that the weight change would be as big as from 61% to 55% front ? because anything smaller than that isn't worth bothering with mk4 mounts imo. But if it could, then it would be worth some serious thought.

ouch, that is a lot more dangerous...I wonder if the ground keeps the roads a few degrees warmer than what a thermostat would read...any ideas?
-
what helps me in the winter is a built in thermometer which lets me know if the road conditions are lying to me or not, (you know when its minus 5 but everything looks clear but you can still end up with ice patches), and slamming on the brakes when safe to do so to see how well it stops. My cavalier has fat summer tires and since its got the z24 "sports package" its stiff and low making it a deathtrap in the winter...maybe I'l get insurance for the winter time ...hmmm

the veyron adjusts the downforce and drag coeficient according to speed with its spoiler and sideskirts or bumper, can't remember maybe both, i think it would feel a lot more safe at those speeds than the saleen, but then again who knows, chances are most of us will never get to that point :( either way both are stunning cars but the veyron wins by far in my opinion, and just look at this interiour...:notworthy: http://www.desktopmachine.com/framepic. ... &size=1024 yes those are air vents on the side of the centre console

Ive turned into a old fart since ive had the C ????

In canada cops are tricky, i don't know about your country, but here they hide around trees with lasers. I know how to dodge them when they are on the road that's the easiest thing specially undercovers. Still got a lot of learning to do, but then again all i'm driving so far is a cavalier which is planned to be the future run about. At least it's a z24 haha , it still eats civics and with high octane it can take stock integras too haha. -

you don't need therapy, all you need is a good radar detector. while i had one i had no tickets for my first year and a half, then as soon as my dad saw how i drive he took it away and now my license is getting suspended 4 months later... -
about those sideskirts, i found some simple looking ones on the FK website, http://www.fk-automotive.com/en/ unless you already bought some, but that's what's going on mine one day, much simpler than the m3 style
-
That makes sense, but what do you mean by “baffled sump”, and is this common for other cars or just a flaw the vr6 had (or still has). One last question, I’m assuming the pickup is at the bottom of the oil pan, and if it is would it be a good idea to take it off and fix the flaw? I appreciate any info you can give me.
-
would you mind explaining that in detail, can't see why slicks would make a difference thanks
-
did you find any sideskirts to suit the ca yet? in my opinion some of the easy to find sideskirts for the corrado, like the m3 ones, don't seem to go with the body and don't blend with it very well either. Please post a link if you managed to find some subtle ones, i haven't had any luck with that yet

I am new to the forrum and won't be having a corrado for another 2-3 months, but in my opinion a turbo gives the engine a more desireable environment, just how a radiator cools it down from overheating a turbo helps it get more air, kinda like specializing each component, radiator just for cooling, turbo just to make sure the engine breathes as much as it can. If you won't call me an idiot for sayn that than we can agree on the next subject. 1.8L - less displacement- less potential. A v6 (and especially a well engineered vr6) in my opinion is the most balanced engine for street driving. It's smooth because of the 2 extra pistons, but more economical than a v8 a with well tuned forced induction it'l give many more expensive cars a run for their money
