    extra wide corrado

If he has a RWD Corrado with some grunt, then that makes the kit worth having on the car. Other than that what's the point of driving a FWD car that's wide and looks like it's RWD when it's not?
  2. Loving the pictures mate, you're off to a great start with that camera. Any chance in some high res ones? :thumbleft:
  3. I'm a little clueless on this subject, even after some good reading  Basically, with the scraper and R32 oil pan, would I be fine for oil starvation and foaming? Cheers
  4. JMC, that's one thing that I feared mate. The quality looks like it's worth the hassle though 8)

    Hazard light switch

First time I've heard of that happening. Funny how the dumbest things end up breaking in these cars...
  6. Great looking car, looking forward to see how those door sills will look on it as I've been looking at the exact same design too. How come you have that round stalk on your steering console? Maybe I missed it when skimming through the previous pages but I haven't seen that on a C before
  7. Oh no! I think she's testing your loialty :? Seriously though, that's a proper slap in the face. Just keep pressing on.
  8. Cheers for the pic, now I have a better idea of how mine should turn out when done. [EDIT] For reference, I finally installed this in my Canadian Corrado, and everything matched up perfect and works with no problems.
  9. Err...maybe she picked the car because of the system even though it's rendered useless right now (as if she can walk into any car that she wishes  ). At least it comes down to the wheel lock and not the C being a pos or something. I don't know...it's my best shot, pretty dumb advert but nice to see it either way.

    Bulb Condoms???

herisites, what size condom is needed for the heater knob bulb?
  11. I think the typical shelf-life for gas is around eight to ten months if I recall so anything longer than that should probably be replaced. I have one question too though. Do you guys think I should change my oil right away bearing in mind that mine has sat for six months and it's synthetic with 4000k on it? I just want to take it for a spin and don't see the point in changing the oil until I put it away again. Cheers
  12. Damn chavaliers, I've lost count of how many I've snapped in mine by now. None in the Corrado so far though, I doubt I'll have to worry about them snapping.

    Gutted!

I went on a road trip when I got the car and at some point I stopped for an oil top up (I already knew VR's tend to burn it). Being a little tired, I did the same thing. Luckily the horrible smell reached me while I was leaving the parking lot... I'd say it's safe to say that all of us who did it already will promptly remember to put the cap back on from now on.
  14. Mrs B has in fact gone off the idea now, but said that she would prefer to have one good Corrado, rather than two mediocre ones  VR time then!!! ;) 8)[/quote:2ae9a]
  15. The shift light came in in no time and the build quality is top notch, thanks mrbeige. Depending on the sound, the buzzer wouldn't be too bad but as it is, it's as stealthy as it gets IMO. With a buzzer, people might think your car is trying to say it's broken again every time you use it. Just a thought.
  16. Very nice build-up. I love reading all the little details and obstacles that you wouldn't normally know unless you see it first hand. Are you planning to upgrade the clutch as well? I don't think I've noticed you mentioning anything about the clutch unless it's already been upgraded before you went SC. Keep up the good work! [EDIT] Are there huge savings to be had by doing it yourself as opposed to just buying a complete kit? I'm under the impression that it would be more reliable and work better since it's been tested before hand. Am I completely off? Catalin
  17. I'd love to see someone translate the full story
  18. H8RRA, that looks just mint! I'd love to ride around in that and wouldn't change a single thing. I believe the Neuspeed Corrado had those fishnet headrests as well except they looked meatier and generally much better.
  19. Interesting approach. Did you get a chance to RR it yet?
  20. We get some pretty cold winters here so that's probably why it's so warm. IMO, if you're not the only owner then the first time you recondition the leather, it's probably best to rip it out and look for signs of the glue giving away and corners unstiking from the board. After that it's much easier to do a detailed clean up including areas where you could never otherwise reach (ex. where the speaker pods bolt on).

    stripped interior

It's also a good idea to replace the plastic clips. As far as I know, you have to go to the dealer for that but over here they told me the A-pillar clips are discontinued now! Anyone know of any alternatives?
  22. So this is where all the parts went. Sounds great, the conversion didn't take very long either. Should be interesting to see how this will turn out.
