I have one of those filters from the PO in it's orig. package but had no clue what it was for. I just saw this pic and am wondering what benefits this mod will give and what I need to do to have it there. I noticed it replaces a hose that connects to the intake mani but there's a sensor on that hose so I'm clueless.

RS VR6 Really nice touch with the black carpet there, did you put it on top of the tan carpet or you just hacked things up a bit?

three letters .....NSX , the best ever honda True, wasn't thinking clearly. S2000 is actually ok and NSX is something they managed to get right as well. Performance wise, the new Type-R is better than the R32 according to TopGear but styling wise I can't stand 'em.

What BBS model are these? Perfect IMO http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/download.php?id=38363 They don't come with a polished lip do they? Is it a normal lip or a kodiak lip? -
Whats the worst thing youve done to ur corrado

Forgot to put back the oil cap after topping up the oil during a long journey home. When the smell came inside I was quite terrified. After driving standard for just 5 days I took it into traffic and a dumb lady in front of me stopped suddenly when normal people wouldn't and I was distracted that very moment. Guess who needs a new front end? Ironically she just had a few scuffs and was kind enough not to make a claim...mine however was to the point where the rad was leaking and firemen came. -
Yeah none of that mazda, type-r errr...stuff. The mazda has a nice back but is just hideous at the front and honda's well I can't really find anything in the styling that I like. I'd suggest a Subaru if you want to move away from the german market.

Be sure to keep us posted, I'm probably going to try it out too.

Just found out what to unplug on the CCC, easier than I thought.
-
Thinking about this in the near future as well. Should be interesting to see how people did it.
-
So no one has an answer to this one? :turn-l:

Cheers, yeah I wasn't even sure what color it was when I first got it. You should go for a vr swap rather than change the car all together, that way you just build your own motor and then when you throw it in there it won't give you any problems. Good luck with it!

Really nice pictures there, the car looks stunning.

So I finally started doing a few things and began preparing everything so I can work on it over the winter when it's too cold to go outside to grab what I need. A steel wrench can be your worst enemy when winter really settles in over here. Mechanically I'm happy with it but the interior however is a complete mess. Everything is getting ripped out (including the headliner and leather components), cleaned/fixed individually. On top of that I want to slowly throw some goodies in it and get it all done once and forget about it, so it's probably going to sit there for a long while :( Right now I'm working on changing the lights to red.

My car is sitting right now without coolant for a few months till it's going to be warm enough to work on again (no garage). Sometimes the electric pump comes on while I'm doing some wiring but there is no coolant for it to move. Does anyone know if I can potentially damage either of the pumps if there is no coolant in there, maybe they are designed to use the coolant for lubrication while pushing it.

yeah me too, I'm gonna be waiting for some pictures. Those rims are different and look like they will suit the car.
-
The one that has the spoiler up  [EDIT] It's supposed to be for better fuel efficiency so with it up it must be more aerodynamic.
-
Thanks!! Why didn't I think of that? Yeah it looks like I can't afford new ones...which I can't right now
-
Yeah it's just that the idea of a high-reving 6cyl sounded really cool to me. From what I understand, aside from the price, the downside to those straight cut gears is that the transmission noise is loud, am I right?
-
That's something I didn't know before. So what can I learn from all this? I'm no racecar driver so keep those revs under a leash. Sounds like it's time to get one of those custom shift lights to help me hold back

I have a pair of Boston Acoustics from the PO but they have the middle membrane pushed in. Is that any cause for quality loss? Does anyone have any tips on how I could pop it out? The material is the same as the membrane itself, a hard cloth-like material. Cheers [EDIT] and I did use the search but couldn't find anything at all, maybe because I wasn't too sure what to search for.

Very interesting debate but the main question is, will the Schrick head keep up with my bottom end which is safe up to 9000rpm? If it can then surely it's a screamer, but doubt that the components that went into it are made to be reved that high. For example, I doubt it's got titanium retainers and so on.
-
Either way, it's good to hear about some sort of update.
-
Think this one was reflashed or something. I'm a little confused because I know it doesn't have a chip but somehow the rev limiter isn't there.
-
Cheers for the respnses. Yes I have mine fitted and the bottom end is knife edged and balanced to 9000rpm which is why I am wondering what rpm the Schrick can be safely taken to.
-
Did a search on it and no luck. It seems I have a Schrick BVH and was wondering if anyone has any info or knowledge on them. Mainly wondering about the types of springs that were used, valve stems and pretty much the quality of the rest of the parts that go into it. Performance figures would also be nice if anyone has any to share. Can't find anything on it anywhere, nothing on google nothing on the 'tex, it seems like nobody really bothered with them and just ported and polished their own.
