  1. mate thats what really made me buy this one ive looked nearly every day since about a month after selling the VR for another g60 and I was a little dissapointed the guy is selling (will be 3 new owners in a year) so i got in touch and nearly brought it back but i needed a different project! I have tried to get him to come to e38 and keep it! He phoned me at work and we spoke for a long time about the car! I said he has to keep it but i think he's quite content on selling up wish my engine bay looked like that now! cheers for the heads up thou guys! u like the new sig?

  7. Hi mate hows things? Yeah still up here live in bath you going e38 or anything later this year? hi mate how is your engine rebuild coming on? shes quite standard at the mo! she has full grey leather, 17" ZW1's, coil overs, under the bonnet JMR stage 4 charger SNS chip JMR exhaust also has air con but need to get that working give me a year and she should be looking minty! need to change the steering wheel too soon!
  8. Hi all well what a weekend a 860mile round trip but im home and with a new aqua blue pearl G60 what a lovely colour in the sun! started friday drove to cardiff with my mate went out had a few bevvies got the 13:30 flight to edinburgh met James_88 of the forum went for a drive checked the car over needs alot of minor body work and engine needs a really good clean but other than that its a really good solid car which i feel was refelected in the fair price so i think were both happy so i left edinburgh for bath at 6:40 ish and got back at 1ish in the morning i was very happy with the C stopped twice on the way back and spent £60 on fuel thought it was gonna be more was gettign about 31mpg Got my megs kit out this morning got to work 2 washes and a very quick wax and polish will start sratch Xing over the next few weeks but here's the pics what you all think
  9. like you say simon the main difference is the blocks the 1h from the rallye is stronger mate use the rallye engine if you can also has the FMIC set up too but if you can get hold of one to rebuild yourself you might as well do it anyway then slap it in yours when done! sell the other one or break it for parts
  10. bazza car ia looking minty mate i am now very nearly back in the fold so will come say hello after ive picked my new rado up this saturday!
  11. nice mate and well done for selling the rado i was sorely tempted just the wrong time
  12. andy dont think those twin cones make that much difference mate you need to get a flowed head and the intercooler they'll make the difference, i got 215bhp out of mine had r1 charger, gas flowed & ported head, standard jabba induction kit, port & polished manifold, piper 285 cam, 68mm pully and few other bits and bobs! if you go 65mm toothed that will make prob 15 bhp difference i reckon yours is 190-200 thou just as the chip and pully give 25 and straight thru zorst 3-5 so defo 190 mate,
  13. hello mate long time no chat! car is looking 8) loving the rear bumper! hows things? the more corrado's i see the more adgitated and itchy feet im getting mate need to be back in the fold asap after my hols!

  15. hi mate so i dont fill up mikes thread with stuff bout your g60 word of warning very hard and difficult to colour the centres and keep the dish silver i was going to do it and got told by a few wheel experts not too! have a go thou if thats the way you wanna go if your polishing the outers get some wet and dry from low up to 2000 then belgom them! what you gonna do with the rear bumper mate get it filled? like the interior thou mate. so i went for all over colour in the end and i was very happy with it heres the old girl at the end bloody miss her
  16. hi mike long time no see mate just reading the new thread ill be back soon! i dont ever think we gave the rado's too much stick did we :D only a very slow drive up to stealth the first time! what i come on to say thou was saw your rado in southsea on monday i cam down to see the old man and tell the new owner his borbet flat caps are well dirty i have a pic of our 2 rado's together somewhere will try find it for ya! hope the mk2 serves you well is she a daily? Andy
  17. big grim i'd prefer a corrado forum car trust me but yours is a little out of my price range as i only want to spend £2.5k and then be my project for the next year till she's looking tip top yours is already there mate! The car is a dragon green g60 also thanks to rodders and drunken munkey its really that i just want someone to look at the state of the bodywork being as critical as possible i'm not too fussed by the engine I am quite sure that is healthy from his reciepts etc! Cheers Andy i will keep you all updated!
