  5. Is all the tabs on these badges? If so i will take them both ;)
  6. Funny my 91 G60 has not got the supercharged badge! And my VR6 has not got the vr6 badge either, and i have seen a few like that. Either there was a spate of thefts or people are taking them off to make them "sleepers" !
  7. Its an excellent piece of info, hope the Mods make a stickie out of it.
  8. Here is one for all you Stattos out there. What is the differences between models rear end badges. I have seen some with chrome vw badges, black badges( ok some might be bought as aftermarket items). Did all corrados get 16v,G60,vr6 badges, were they all colour co-ordinated to suit the car?
  9. Looks good. The G3 is quite a rough polish, you planning on going back over it with a finer polish and pad to refine it?
  10. Found this on another Corrado site and thought it would be interesting Stickie for newbies. Or even if somebody could do an improved version. http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8597
  11. Some good info there, Many thanks. Looks like i have a job 2moro :)
  12. Yeah all faults were cleared and returned with next check. How would you check for leaks other than listening, does the old "spray carb cleaner" trick still get used?
  13. Got a friend to do a Vag com on the project VR yesterday and this is what came up. End --------------------------------------------------------------------- What do you reckon guys. Where do i start as i am new to the Vr6 engine set up.
  14. Yaaaaaa, its all working thanks to Hasan`s advice. Mind you didnt work when i first hooked it and i was gutted, but i found there was poor connection on one of the spades, all cleaned up and tightened and it blows on all speeds now. I am going to change all the spade connections anyway as they have cheap and poorly done ones on the wires at present. Mark what do you mean about the 5a connectors and solder them to the resistor? Next job .....i need to find out how the A/C should work???? Anybody got a manual ....lol
  15. Thanks Hasan, i will give this atry today. Many thanks for your info.
  16. Fiat have sourced me a replacement but i still have to see it to see if it matches. £46, but i am going to try and repair the one i have first.
  17. The link one looks more like an early fan resistor, as i just had to do one on my G60 corrado. Def doesnt look anything like the one that fits my aircon, but thats for looking Axcel :) Mark was yours the same as i have above or was it a normal fan system. As i did wonder if the coil resistors could be changed out for thermal fuses but looking more at my set up thats not how its designed to work. I wouldnt know which thermal fuses to replace each coil with anyway.
  18. Behind the glove box. Left hand side. Above the base of the fan, pointing towards the passenger.
  19. My Diavia Aircon fan isnt working. I have checked everything to my knowledge, spent the whole day doing research on here and i am sure it the Fiat/Lancia Resistor pack fitted to it. I have tried the local Fiat dealer and says they cant supply it, last time he seen one like it was a Fiat Coupe and they are now Obsolete. Here is a picture of the resistor, note the broken first coil on it. So has anybody got an idea where i could get one, or may have a 2nd hand one kicking about?????? Many thanks if you can help guys. Skid.
  20. Hasan, i took out the section you mentioned, hoping to find the thermal fuse but i came across this On this pic you can see one of the wires/spring fractured. One of the Resistors is fractured so i will have to try and source a replacement to get the fan going then once that runs check out my Air Con Been up to fiat dealers and the part is Obsolete but is going to source something he thinks might be the right shape/size. If not he says they were fitted to Fiat Coupe`s pre 94 models, so it might be a case of hunting the scrappies for one. Thanks.

    VR6 rear shocks

The rear Bilstein shocks i have had sprung a leak, just wondering if anybody has any non standard shockers up for sale? Its a project car so dont want to be splashing out on brand new sets.
  23. Thanks for the comment, but its not that bad a project, i have seen far worse being tackled by other people. Hardest part is not having a massive garage to work out of. Working outside on the street, hoping the weather is good is the hardest part.
