  1. just paid for my insurance, £1088 fully comp, all mods declared with adrian flux.
  2. they have to be in the official typeface that 'normal' cars use, therefore any other type of letter style is illegal...but ive got german plates on and never been stopped, as said above if you drive like a goon its just something else to have you on! drive normally and they wont even notice
  3. http://cgi.ebay.de/BBS-RM-Rims-8x15-8-5 ... dZViewItem any idea if they will fit under my arches, without any rubbing ?? or will they be too wide?? (dont want to get arches rolled)

  5. ok washed the car and polished it yesterday, with the help of my missus (so wasnt the best job ever, although i am a perfectionist so i did make sure she did the job well) and here are the results....
  6. i always thought it would be cool to stick a vw W8 engine in the back, and leave it on show for everyone to see....

    Olly's C

ill take 2nd place on those wheels
  8. agree with above, put them in a plastic bag and tie it up, thats what i did with mine, stops most of the water getting in and most importantly...is cheap!!
  9. ive got one of these on mine, really nice, much better than the long bit of tat i had on there before, used to feel like changing gear in an old ford transit!!
  10. i should think so too, useless bunch of A Holes!!!
  11. i had a rusty one on mine, had a new plate welded back in and both sills smoothed and painted, cost in region of £250 ish ?
  12. not a fan either, looks a bit blue peter'd, sorry!! A* for effort tho!!
  13. hate jap cars, although i nearly considered getting a scooby!!
  14. jeeeeezzzzuuuuussss you guys make me sounds so old!!! im only 21!!! (surprisingly enough the insurance is only £200ish more than it will be for the corrado!!) ok jaguar is old man ish but surely if you know your jags the R means get out of the way!!! its either a jag or a mercedes 500sl (not the new style ones tho) on about an R plate.....dad had one of those years ago, kept breaking down.....like the corrado....
  15. 370bhp and 390 lb/ft. not that ill need it, i dont really hammer the corrado around
  16. i dont think an XJR is what you could call refined tho....it can be fun if you give it a prod, i want to get this new corrado when it comes out, too. i just cant be arsed takeing the car to a garage to get one thing done then to find out it needs to go back in a few weeks to get something else done....the corrado is pretty much brand new, without jinxing myself there's only two things on it which are original.....oh and the fag lighter!! (which doesnt work)
  17. wheel bearing has collapsed now and i know its only a simple job (again) but its just getting out of hand now, so i think im going to be selling her  Dads just bought an XJ Jag and is really chuffed with it and after speaking to people with level heads, it seems the consensus is to sell her on, its becoming too much of a moneypit for me, and cant really use it properly.... so think im going to get a twin with my dads car and get this.... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/90778.htm EXACTLY the same as my dads one, (colour, trim, etc) except this one is an 'R' so its got a big fat supercharger on it (did i hear someone say 'out of the frying pan into the fire' ?) but it does seem really nice and new jags arent as crappy as the old ones were, so hopefully get a few miles out of her, unlike my corrado.....
  18. yeah its about £450-£550 for a rebuild, not bad considering its about a grand for a new charger, plus all the work involved cleaning chunks of charger metal out of the boost hoses/intercooler/engine....
  19. ive got 215/35s on my 9 inch rears, and dont create a harsh ride at all, well no more than my old 17s used to on 40 profile rubber....
  20. just use a panel filter, like K&n or something much better than an induction kit.
  21. yeah pay now get later....different i suppose!!!
  22. very nice, ill be coming down soon to get the rest of my exhaust hopefully....
  23. nice car saw this a few days ago!!!
