  1. So en you picking up the Wowdi ???
  2. With a Dash of Yellow in no11 if the papers are right! :brickwall:
  3. Found a garage selling regular unleaded at just 114.9/l round our way (S-Bucks)as opposed to the usual 119.9/l, and yet 5 miles the other way there's a Shell (in the middle of nowhere) selling V-power at £131! :epicfail:
  4. slammed on some Satin black Wide 5's? :norty: Get my text at the weekend? :(
  5. Believe all this is down to the Terminator and the sandle eating Califorians? Don't/ didn't all manufacturers have to produce something mad like 5% of total output as "Green cars" if they wanted to keep selling in Ca? Which kind of explains why Aston are re-badging a Toyota-coffin-on-wheels...
  6. Anyone know if Carnoisseur are still dealers for Dubmeister's plates? Easier to go to Dunstable :gag: than post off all my docs...
  7. I'll second that... I have one of the first 3-relay OEM ones Zak did, and I have never had any issues. Through fine weather and some of the foulest in recent times, including this and last winter's big freezes, and a trip round the M25 in such torrential rain that South Mimms services was flooded! Possibly the second-best mod on the car (after the KW-1's :D)
  8. Yep with Jim on this, would prefer a Solid "shed" than a nice shiny thing that will break down every 5 mins.. The "Honest" car wins every time!
  9. They'll be the ones on a Gulf Mk1. http://www.clubgti.com/FORUM/showthread ... 035&page=3 Gah Kick a man when he's falling off a cliff! Looked better with the Fuchs.. imho... hmm 16" Fuchs.....
  10. GAH! I missed out on a satin black 4-stud set of these about a year ago on Ghey-bay came off a Rayyle too soe were perfect off sets (et25-30 from memory) :brickwall: Need to see them on though, and then find to nearest cliff to throw myself off!
  11. Gav have a look at my build thread... this was as they were set "out the box" dunno if all are like this or I had a lucky set... and as you can seee they've not even settled either! Gotta love The KW-1's
  12. yeah John, except it wasn't unrealistically slow... was on one of those rare occasions when the M25 was busy but flowing.. so just took it nice and easy and stayed "in traffic" those that have followd me (Lisa-Yeti) know I generally don't hang about on the M-way... actually it was sort of mixed as that was a Sunday drive from my old place in e-London to Hemel so included the n-circ and M11 as well as the Bell Tunnel roadworks too! Just stnding up for the "poor" relation 16vs out there...
  13. Be even more impressed if iy was run long enough to get up to temp!
  14. If you live in Croydon... Charged VR... faster than the speeding bullets on a Fri night! :norty: Croydon...be quick or be dead.[/quote:t8y6eoor] Apt pub....
  15. If you live in Croydon... Charged VR... faster than the speeding bullets on a Fri night! :norty:
  16. hahaha! not getting into the VR-G60-16v arguement again it's lose-lose.... (But yes, 160-ish hp on tap and low weight, = loads of handling fun, however Recaros do bump Kerb Weight up a bit!)
  17. He speaketh sense TBH... If the do want it they'll get it Ben... if they don't turn up with a flatbed which they managed with mates old mans Scooby Legacy, at night from his drive, no-one heard a thing....they'll just break in for the keys...Crooklocks etc won't stop this type... but it's the "TWOKER" or someone after your stereo that will be the most likely one to go after your car... try not to advertise where it's location is and scrub plate pictures from the internet... etc etc... as John says don't drive it like a loon within a few miles of home, keep sounds down in "pikey" areas, and watch your rearview for last mile or so... is there someone behind you? (Yes I lived in East London!) Good news is that to the average "scrote" the Rado is just another old car (and isn't a Merc/Bimmer/Audi)
  18. And at 1240(VR) vs 1097(16v) Kerb weights*... an additional 143 kg... Oh and 16v mileage rocks! Yep that's 40.2 MPG... at an eco-friendly driven 55 on M25! :notworthy: *These are taken from "t'internet sources" (google Corrado 16v Kerb weight)
  19. Be a really good idea for us "poor" Valver owners if it wasn't just M14 sized... But will have to get one for the MK3 anyway!
  20. Sneaky Germans.. any idea of a part number Mikki?
  21. That's the monkey! (damn this memory loss)
  22. Or that German co (which I forget the name of) that sells Rado parts... they had LHD lenses listed
