What Coolant are you using? Changing what ever was in when i got the car to to G12+ meant the heaters worked much quicker!

Well with a new Starter motor and solonoid, Annie's back up and running.... Only updates on the Pearl Ghey is that I managed to wipe off some more paint a few days ago... a result of 2 hrs sleep (Mattias needed walking at 4.30am), and then rushing to move the cars to get the bins out means I brushed the side of the house with the d/side wing/bumper! :brickwall: Still only paint and not panel damage at the end of the day! Will have to get round to take it to a body shop and get it fixed at some point when my life calms down, say about 3 years or so? :lol:

Update on Annie, have the auto electrician out ATM and appears the starter motor's dead... found 5 small bits of white metal in it... but the bearing's fine and engine tuns by hand... so new s/motor and see how things go from there... Just waiting for him to come back with it... Oh and word of warning for anyone doing a mk3 8v GTi starter... the bottom bolt runs through the front engine mount as we just discovered :brickwall: I'm off to fish out the trolley jack and axle stands from the shed now!

Silly question, but why would you want this? If I saw someone ahead on a d/carridge way indicate 3 times then stop I'd assume they've changed their minds... :gag: Much safer to keep indicating till you're out in the lane you want to go to... .. And from what I've heard get it done at their fitting center rather than by a "Mobile" at least that way you know there's more than one bloke availbe... Not had windscreen done by them but had rear 1/4 glass done after some Junkie thought it'd be a good idea to break in using his fist (and leaving enough "DNA" on my car to get himself banged up :gag: ).. They ended up needing two people to fit it... :eek: As to getting them to fit a new screen fitted in my old Mk1 Cab... the Welwyn Garden City Branch had to call a guy in from another branch who was "old-skool" enough to know how to fit a non-bonded screen! :lol:

Massive if you have a sunroof and it's a dry day! :lol: Think we managed a 5ft last year with two of us in the car and no issues!

JIm why are you surprised? Look at the way they treat EVERY test car on the track... not surprised they blew that up... I'd never loan them a car for track-testing.. unless i didn't want it back in a million pices! In the days of Tiff Noodle he broke a Marcos 5 times, and went through 8 sets of rear tyres "Testing" it!

early vavlver will have a baby tank... But still a bit low... you should be seeing 250+ from it! Best to whip the injectors out ans leak test them.. all 5

Again on ED there's a guy called Chris (dunno what his udername is now) was running an ABF Eaton in a mk2 Ibiza... quite the lil monster... He drove to Charleys and back last year, was seen hunting an RS4 through some tunnels in France from memory...

BBS RJ .. same as RZ's but 5 stud and curved spokes... Seen them go for £100 a set with tyres...
