Tell you when I order some (Have 2-yr old H-Fords in at the moment), but the difference between old and new Halford was "night and day" ('scuse the pun!)
-
Not yet as the only link I can find is an e-bay one.. and work blocks them! :( Which is good in a way as means I don't spend my pay packet on the first day! Mic Ideal for the track as you spend more time looking at the Tachco anyway... aligned to a "Beige-Products" shift light kit would be great for you!
-
Mine Arrived yesterday, but at the post office as wasn't in to sign for it! Bugger!
-
Whilst grazing through Vortex found this: Now I wonder if they'll do this in MPH?? I likey! :luvlove:
-
No worries, he did mention he's off to Spain for 2 weeks didn't he? :confused4:

GIRL! :camp: No actually you great raging Hommer! :fondle: Not like its cold outside! Did a wash and full wax Sunday morning only took 2 hrs (and that's with waiting 30 minutes per layer for the colinite to cure!) Plus there's a story on E38 (down ATM) about a guy wrecking his expensive Image wheels by taking it to a "Lithu-Wash" whatever they used on then stripped the ceramic coating off! They're not the most careful of people and will happily was your car with a sponge dropped on the floor and just dunked in the buket again! :pale:  :cuckoo:

I have noticed those words appearing together quite a lot. Are they a bunch of cowboys then? Lets just say they commute by Horse... :norty:
-
Genius! Now why didn't I think of that last time I had the cards off, istead of trying to trap my goddamn fingers in the card! :brickwall: Spire you will also need to spec early/late interior as the door pins changed... And also the plastic cuff if it's missing too!

Not "That" Rare John, There's another Raod on them, A Vento and a Polo that I know of, and I'm not a "Scene Whore" Doesn't matter though, because they suit Vicks car bang on! Fow shure :) I almost can't imagine a Polo sporting a set of those. Innit! :camp:

Mic, get yourself to the Autosports show, you'll find all there series represented and you can ask the organisers/competitors questions... That is if you can stop staring at the acres of Lycra on show! Best Bet is try to Blag a Friday pass as Sat/Sun are public days and rammed...

The H4's will make the biggest difference as you really only use the H3 on hi beam... Dave good call... one only 6 miles away! Do you know if it's an offer running?
-
Are these "Sided" for LHD cars? If so won't be much use for us here in the UK as the "passenger" will be our Drivers mirror
-
As Dave says... Look at the Torques curve too... if it's low to 5000 then rises sharply, will be no good as a road engine, will need the Cr@p revved out of it to get going.... Think it's a "Race-Spec" if it truely does put out 220... and that means massivily lumpy cams, power all at top end etc, which will be a right PITA on a road car...
-
Full width plate looks better... small one looked a bit "lost" in there Vick! Did Mark come back to you about what we were speaking about?
-
World's tinyiest pitures!
-
I'm off to get one of those "special" Storm VR's that give out 230+ Stock!
-
Zak, Hope to see this by Xmas then!
-
I thank you Sire Seems I am right once in a millenium! Will hopefully get some before/after pics up of lights. Waiting for my "Kurby" loom and will get some Phillips Extreme's ordered up as they seem to have the best "Upgrade" (A claimed 70%). so will do: 2yr old Halfords 50% Phillips Extreme Halfords/Loom Phillips/loom
-
The loom is the weak link... send current 1/2 way round the car into the switch, which also means the switches fail. Upgrade looms means the current go from Battery straight to bulbs, less Voltage drop. Halfords 50% Brighter bulbs are pretty good... still pull stock Wattage (so no smoking looms) and ae a bit brighter. Used for 2winters.. need to be replaced though... Phillips ?Extreme? are also supposed to be 70% brighter Just remember all bulbs lose brightness over their lifespan... So if they've been in a while replace...

Did these at Lidl about 6 months ago and flew out the doors!

I think you might have prepare to eat your words in the new year Kev, purple venetion blinds is a great idea, especially on Nice Gay Violet  You could control the slats from the spoiler switch - facking awesome!!! 8) But would that be deemed as Enineering? Scene would be a Blue-tooth set with Diamonte's Air-cooled went through this with "NOS" (New Old Stock) parts... some were just that, found in the back room of an old dealership... some were manky old rusty tat found in a garage...

The Stoke Mandeville run? Funny you should say that as I was looking at doing something similar next Easter for Gt. Ordmond Street... Think I should bother? That could be it there, I'd have to double check with him though. It's definitely a good/worthy idea, and I think it would be possible in a local clubs that were open minded enough and able to organise themselves. Not sure how well it would be received if you put it on E38 though. Not like the bike runs where people come from all over country to join in.[/quote:28h5yh79] Ah well Balls to it let see what happens... Seem to get better reactions from some of the "Model" boards. We have a few details to iron out (Including speaking to the Met) and will announce in the new year so for those who want to support a great cause please come along....
