Looks rough on those rims, you should give em to me, look much better on a pearl Grey Car! Looking forward to seeing this at the weekend!
-
Cheers guys, removed the old "green spots of death" rad and car ran fine last night through 3.30 hrs of Midnight Cruise in Central London.

Any updates Flustered???
-
Cheers Guys... Was joking about the Evian! Rad has to go as only got 140miles from top up before coolant light came on again. I fully suspect that I will be chasing this one.... Will check the pump whilst we're under there today for any signs of leaking... This thing only had the headgasket done about 30k ago too! I really hope it' not that again... but if it is I'll swap out to a "stage 2" kr Head I've got coming, and take the oppertunity to use an ABF Metal head gasket at the same time... Unless any0ne can recommend why I shouldn't?
-
So should I flush it all out first?? If so what's best to use? Water does look particularly Brown ATM... :confused4:
-
Yipes! They going after Volvo's ugly little thing (C30?) with that back-end? :confused4: Front looks better.. until you get a big slab of white perspex in it that is! :(
-
Off to Helfrauds I go then!
-
Evian Ok? Like the guy with the Astra washes his car in!
-
Cheers Supercharged Will have to get the Brita filter on overtime soon then!
-
Simple really... How much coolant in a 9a 16v system? Doing a Rad swap on teh weekend so need to know and order up more G12 if needs be!
-
He'll be along shortly I guess! Or PM him... Do a search for username Herisites... Oh and have a look at his detailing threads too! :luvlove:
-
Hey chap! Over here too now as well good! As I said Herisites a good guy to get in to machine polish the car, you'll be amazed at the difference! He may even be able to save the bonnet a bit too!
-
Interested to see this Flustered.... can't understand why VAG only put a shorty on there!
-
Could call McLaren and ask for a pair of F1-LM Mirrors too! But they will probably rip your arm off and beat your bank account to death with it!
-
I want to see what the reast of his house is like! Reckons he Zaino's his bog as well? He washes his wheels 4-5 times a week! :camp: If I ever see this out (unlikely) I may well be laughing so hard I crash into it! :pale:

Personally get the best 2.0 16v you can afford... insurance isn't much between them all TBH.. all group 18-19... But the 2.0 9a's the best daily car as an introduction .. all in my humble, 9a owning, opinion though!
-
Yeah I was, but I also knew that I wouldn't get the deposit money back too! Live and Learn...
-
I've got exactly the same issue... Get a New VAG cap not a GSF/Euro one... I went that route and the pattern parts are different... Vag one is about £7 I bought a new bottle as mine was really gunked inside too! Will be getting Samco's as well just to be doubly sure. In my case I think it's the rad as I can see white deposits behind the fan... Best thing is wipe all the suspect areas clean and keep and eye on them, coolant stains will indicate where to look. Have you checked the matrix isn't weeping too? (damp carpets?)
-
Partially yes. As you have stated you bought from JJ's personal e-mail not through the site, so your beef is with JJ himself not BBSLMREPS. Mark's a good mate who set this up to help service a demand, it's not a company as such, just a bunch of like minded enthuisasts trying to help others out and save them a few bob... I know he's a pretty laid back guy but the constant unwarranted attacks on various sites has forced him to appear here and explain things. So as has been said you need to speak to JJ. Can you also please amend your OTHER threads you've posted about this too? But as most people will tell you, you're unlikely to get your deposit back as you've bought elsewhere, just as you wouldn't if you put a deposit down for a car at a dealer and then decided to buy elsewhere... Mods can we lock/delete this thread now this has been resolved please?
-
Yeah I can see your predicament but jumping up and down on this subject everytime the words BBS LM are typed onto a forum, as you have recently, won't get your deposit back. Talk to JJ, if he doesn't reply then there is an issue with your mails, especially as lots of others seem to have had their stuff with minimal fuss. Maybe because they weren't hassling as soon as deadline came and went. Just to re-iterate what I heard, and you have been told here, he's on holiday! So maybe leave it until you know for definate? I don't think it's up to the people who set up the web-site to air their business in public, but you have admitted that your issue lies with JJ. So please change the thread, I don't care that you include "LM replica supplier" or similar, just not BBSLMREPS. I'm going to leave it at that and if the parties involved want to comment they can. Oh and .... deposit's are normally non-refundable!

On reflection I would prefer this to play out vwdeviant but I appreciate your concerns. Again, from the outside looking in (as i'm having to do here) the whole setup is confusing but I agree with what you said and feel that it is worth pointing out that the website was setup as a favour to co-ordinate the group buy for forum members and isn't directly associated with the guy who has actually been RUNNING the group buy. Exactly which is why I feel for the parties involved not using BBSLMREPS in the title's fair... Rob's beef is with [email protected] as he's admitted... neither of the parties who were directly involved in the website have seen any of the alledged money.

Put the Wheel covers you bought too on then! I think there is some "inner" cover that just goes over the bolt holes noy sure what 5-sud you'd have to look at though...
-
Dude, as I said in my other Thread... You have a problem with JJ NOT BBSLMREPS two different people! I sugest you modify this. :mad2:
-
17" LM Reps... Don't look like 17's either which I like... especially if you put them up against BBS RC's which look Huge! 16's are an ideal compromise ride vs handling but work with low cars (see Bally & Billinjah's Rados) But hirses for courses really. Have a good look round at Edition there will be plenty of wheel options to look at!

Get.... Outta..... My.... Head.....
