  1. Anyway I'm sure we all welcome VickN with open arms, no matter who owner the car at some point in it's history... I for one will come over and shake your hand and congratulate you on buying what is some people's "dream" Rado... Best of luck mate and I hope we see you on here regularly!
  2. Try Josh (mariojosh) he's breaking a VR and is near St Ablans... He may let you have a bit of floor... If not I can recommend a really good welder near Oxford (did a lot of "Custom" panel work on my old Type-3's to repalce obsolete body work).
  3. Hi Guys and Gals, Is there a dark art to removing the rear Plate plinth without breaking it? :confused4: Want to get an un-broken one off a scrap tail-gate and scared that I'll make it look like the broken one on my car! :mad2:
  4. Hi Oli good to see you over here too! Hannah, looks pretty good, DBP is such a nice colour on a Rado (but not as nice as Pearl Ghey! ;) ) Sensors and ISV clean should help, but also have a chat with Davewort as he's pretty good when it comes to K-Jet issues... Oh and don't pay too much attention to the MFA reading, they don't always tell the truth! However try taking her to 3k (till she's warm) rather than 2k and you may find it improves slightly mine seems to get better MPG if I drive it a little harder (but then mine's a 9a)... Remember KR's are a little lacking in Torque at the bottom end...
  5. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsp ... 644042.stm So How much for one of Ferrari's Pram mounted toy launcher?
  6. Aledgedly! John can you take me to court if we have the same date?
  7. If it's the stock 3-spoke jobbie, just get your fingers in behind the top and give it a tug. Worked for me 3-4 times and never broke a pin on it!
  8. Horses and courses eh Kev? But think we can all agree it was a "Seminal" Rado which drew quite a few new owners into our little Coupe-group...
  9. You know something about Kevs car we don't Robbo? Personally just glad it's over here and apparently in the hands of some-one who will use it and probably change things up a bit judging by his previous two mk4's..
  10. Yup VickN, Came back on the Ferry Sunday, and he knows Jay as well so we'll get to see this... a lot I would guess... How chuffed will he be to open the Curtains and see that on his drive?
  11. That's just what he told you mate. Believe me if that were the case I'd be straight down the Sun's offices with an exclusive about "That not-a-Nazi's cross dressing son shame" And then retire to the Carribean...
  12. Morbid Curiosity... any after pics? Hope you're ok and remember It's just Metal and Plastic... as opposed to the Rado
  13. Thought Daytona was a daughter?
  14. So does any-one know just how much of Ferrari Mr Mosley actually owns? Not that I'm a conspiracy theroist or anything!
  15. Mic, you have PM... Give him a call as I don't know if it's still there... but I may be going back to the folks on Saturday so can meet you up there if you want a poke about?
  16. They'd employ little know rule F50, section 360 Scudaria, sub-section 250 GTO.... "If it rains at any night races then the race will be abandoned and it will automatically be deemed a Ferrari 1-2 with both McLaren's crashing on the first corners, thus incurring a 10 place drop on the next grid for cutting the circuit" :fondle:
  17. Josh..... Ah Never mind! Mic there's been a few £2-500 mk2 8&16v's come up on our forum recently... However if you really want a weapon, I know where there's a really cheapo mk2 Synchro... :)
  18. Did you not see 5th gear this week? 16v Mk2 Goof with a "TSR" special engine and set of springs/shocks... 4 secs quicker round their baby track than it in stock format. That was still on the stock 14" BBS and rubbish looking tyres! Although Skoda's and SEAT's will be cheap as a base car! And share the same platform as older VAG... Ibiza Gti Maybe? Mind you if it were me, I'd do a type 4 based 2.4 webbered and IRS'd Trekker  Scare the pants off people that would! But then I am a bit "special"
  19. Hybrid GP cars next.... Why did I feel the shaow of Mosley lurking after I heard about the Paris Debarcle? As to Singapore, great race, exta dimension with the lights and a decent "street" circuit too, much moving about and bumpings, now all we needed was a drop or two of moisture.. but maybe next year if they keep it at the same time (rainy season!). As to Japan... Fuji Speedway! Back after 20 years ! Whoo hoo! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsp ... 426677.stm Oh and John Love the "Motivational Poster"
  20. Coooeeeee sweetie! NOICE! Glad to see you have another project on the go when you told me TT I didn't think "that" TT! Now get on and camo the damn thing! ;) Oh and sort the wheels they look plain wrong needs more width and wider spokes in there
  21. Cheers chap! Tis a 16v so the rolling radius will be pretty much spot on, just worries about offsets and wheel/suspension interaction.
  22. Jon, might be picking up the botom end of a KR that I don't need (only want it for the head) if you want a spare?
  23. "Help my worms are escaping from the can!" 9a 16v for me!
  24. Gav, I may have one to hand, but just about to go off to Greece for a week, get some clear silicon on it for the moment and when I come back will check... swap it for that KR head mate! ;)
