Hmm so it's a case of getting a bunch of s/s screws and seeing what fits then?

Pre-facelift Leather Interior into 1995 car
vwdeviant replied to green_16v_corrado's topic in Interior
As he says^^^^ Early Door cards will have Mirror switch in top of card (as opposed to handle on later ones) and window switched on the card (as opposed to the door bins on later ones).. You'll also find the connector are different as well as the door wiring is significantly different not to make it plug-and-play! If It's an early grey leather I'll take it off your hands... :) -
Quote last night from Mclaren Tech director.... "Lewis was proven at 6kmh slower than Kimmi on the line, and then passed BEHIND him at the first corner to take the lead".... 6kmh is a boat anchor in F-1 terms... equivalent to some of the closing speeds on the top straight.. Between Raddion and Kemmel... Basically Kimmi got on the brakes way early for La Source (as you could see him doing over the whole curcuitall the previous lap) and Lewis "did" him, even taking a nerf in the rear for good measure (attacking the vunerable rear wing?). He then proved to be leauges ahead of both Kimmi and Massa over the closing lap. Looking at the replays Kimmi does appear to try and drive Lewis off the road at the chicane and did he complain about that? No... In Hindsight he shoul have popped in got a set of wets and done him "properly", but hindsight's a wonderful thing.... Personally I think its time for the "Suits" (esp :hitler: ) to be removed from F1, it's not a sport anymore... Bring back the heydays of Hunt walking back through the tunnel at Monaco with his overalls down to reveal a t-shirt saying "I did your wife" to wind up his opposition! They were the days...

sure you'll see over the wheel of a TT booster cushion boy!

Vax V020's can be picked up on the Bay for peanuts! Apparently one of the best tools for interiors, so I've been told by a "Pro"

Got one of those Megs towels a while back and all it seems to do is shove water around and get damp... Promptly went out and bought a really good quality Chamois, 5 mins to dry car and by dry I really means dry, not slightly damp and let evaporation do the rest. If treated right they are fine on paint and won't scratch/ remove wax... just stick in a bucket of Warm water before you start washing and by time you're ready to dry it'll be lovely and soft and absorbant!

Sad day PJ.... but as you know the itch will need scratching again... Maybe buy a Sh*ter to play with as well as the "new project" (please don't go Camo with that! )

Much better with the "Man's Splitter" on it! Oh and the old brace looks like fuse wire next to the new one! MMM Shiney!

Hey Guys and Gals... Gonna be refurbing the headlights soon before it gets too dark... Remember some-one replacing their Headlight screws (including the infamous 3rd one) with stainless versions.. Where do I get these or what pitch/thread do I need to look for? :confused4: Want to make these buggers as trouble free as possible... Muchos thanks in advance!

Old man had one as a co car... Y plate IIRC... remember the "ronals" but not that interior, sure seats were deeper, and more "tweedy" cloth... Nice car even so mate, good find! -
Are FK's rebuildable? If So I might have them... for nada! ;)
-
No-one run this combo before? So everyone who has had Porkers has had Coilies too? :confused4:
-
Hi guys, Picked up some Porker 928's as winter wheels at the weekend. All are 7" and ET 65... Now they have come with 25mm adaptors and will run 195/45/16 tyres. So the effective off set will be ET40 on a 7" with 195 width tyre... My question is will they fit ok seeing as I have lowering springs not coilies? Anyone gone this route before?

Think V-maxx and Hot-tuning are one and the same... Good to meet you Friday Skinny, car looks awsome on thiose wheels!

I saw that cock wandering around. I'd have found a stick and tried to beat him out of the tree if I'd noticed him... Was nicknamed "Ambulace boy" just for the fact we were all sure that's where he'd end up! :gag: Bit of a loon but live and let live mate... (unless he wander's on your farmland that is! ;) )
-
I'd go with the latter.... Probably this one! Spotted on top of the massive tree on our side of the site!

'Grats on the award Bally, sorry didn't get to spend more time Sat had to try and baby-sit Mark and Camera most of the day, rate he was going we'd have been there watching him take pics all day! Plus Friday's 12hr sess was still kicking me! Sunday I chipped at lunch, didn't really do much of the show cars thanks to the awful weather, (waking up to fog in August WTF?) so didn't see prize hand out. So who beat you to the prize Sunday? -
Danish Salami and Remulade FTW! Or for Breakfast.... Cheese and Jam... sounds wierd but isn't... Like Jaffa cakes and Salsa!
-
How about that! :D Yeah picked as they were the most aerodynamic mirror available at the time... If I remember right... They couldn't use little racing mirrors due to the central driver position..
