  1. Remember that in summer the Petrol coming out the underground tanks will be "cold" and will expand, thus pressurising the air above it... Also worth thinking about when filling it up on hot days is that if you "Brim" the tank it'll just pee unused petrol on the road as it expands... Done this on most cars I have owned, never been an issue...
  2. Argh! Just looked back at this! Flustered is that the whole untrimmed panel? Really want something to cover wiper motor and electrics as well...
  3. Get it a nappy then! Alex good to hear the strange noises are supposed to be there! Who did the work on the charger before Darren?
  4. Get them banded to 8's :D and black's a really good "Winter" colour hides miles of road grime!
  5. Not the best picture but you get the idea...
  6. :brickwall: Cause I'm keyboard Dyslexic... have a look at how I spell anything with a TH in it (teh esp.) Will edit my post!
  7. Probably won't have to some of the neighbours (LIthu and Bulgarians) are looking for the next Economy to be strong with weak immigration so they can go there! The Poles are all heading home as their economy's in a better state than here apparently! Europe is turning into a romany State I tell ya! Go where the work is... And Walsey, you really like Newquay even though it gets invaded by the "dregs" every summer? I'd end up a tall tower with a large 'Scope'!
  8. So really what was the motivation for Mr 22million to sell the bank at a loss? Apparently he was holding out on selling it the last couple weeks as he wanted to drive up the price (and his slice no doubt)... One of the things that has fuelled this and that's the greed of a small number of traders in the square mile... some of the bonuses paid over the past few years have been nothing short of obscene, mate of mine told me last year it was all going to go tits up because all the City Boys do is look to their next bonus, not the long-term... Another reason the oil prices are going up, City-boy trading has increased in Oil of late... Sod Canada or Australia, go to the UAE that's where the cash is!
  9. Picked up a set of 928's/Adaptors/tyres to use over the winter and need some refurb ideas... Going on a Pearl Grey Rado. So get your 928 wheel pics up and give me some inspiration please! :luvlove:
  10. Lil off topic mate but what size adaptors are you running? Picked up some 928's for winter with 25mm adaptors and wondered if they'll fit...
  11. Have some VW badged centres (inc metal "Weave") you can have for £10 if you like mate... IMHO these are better than the other wheels... more G60 style... Keep with 50 profile tyres too as they fill the arches better than 45 profile on 15's....
  12. Put the ride height back up again yet Stu??
  13. Ask him to get the paint and MOT/tax done if you agree on the asking price... if not walk... Turning into a buyers market atm.. ;)
  14. You thinking of getting rid of the "Bumper-car" whip you have ATM Tom? The shark's fin's are (from memory) designed to work with latest Factory stereos which have in-built aerial amps) so may not work... Go with a new OE amped whip will probably be night and day... (this is another on my long list of "to-dos")
  15. Jon, just be sure to get the Water pump with Metal impellors not the plastic ones which can shear.... Can't remember off the top of my head which they are, but I know Murray's in Hatfield sell them (and do mail order and are well priced too). Murray is old-skool parts guy, won't stock cheap shite that breaks unlike some of the "majors" I can mention!
  16. Cheers for the pointer... am considering a full 9a Samco Kit to go on the 9a (less the two heater pipes) and maybe a pump swap out as well... that way all the major components are done...
  17. If you want to try a stock de-badged one I have one you can try.... Swop them over next e-london met?
  18. Good to hear you've got the revving sorted... Pipes are just down to age TBH mate, 15+yr old rubber pipes.. went through this pain with my 'Rocket too ended up with all new ones and thermo and waterpump! Also you using jubliee clips or proper "one use" spring clips? Mine's still using but a lot less now I have the new rad so next stop for me is to go see Mister Samco, and a new Pump!
  19. Sukh cheers for the Rad, shame it hasn't stopped (much slower now though) the coolant loss, so the rest of pipes are next. Have a chat with Andy (Yeti) he has some very nice race seats for sale! So want a go in this when it's running
  20. yeh, came runnerup in show & shine corrado class @ westside... So  {mincing} it's painfull Bally! See you Sunday!
  21. John's right, but Super-touring always was a bit of a "Battleground" esp in the £Multi-millon days... Ford apparently spent almost £20m in one season! But this was the haydays of Vauxhall/Ford/BMW/Alfa/Nissan/Renault factory teams... I can't see a reversal of this decision, I can see a change for next year though, and Sir Jackie's right, full time professional stewards.
  22. Taken From Plaent f1: Any-one like to lay money on Kimmi being in red overalls next year? ;)
  23. They look Ghey! Give them to me! Top job lad! See you Sunday for a proper nose round? ;)
  24. Sweet well that will make a mockery of all other F-1 Races any time some-one puts a wheel off track in beating a Ferrari... Or crashes as well mind you! :brickwall:
  25. Them Thare Bubble-car wheels were only available up to 14" too IIRC (probably wrong tho) so too small for the rado! Big-mother we need picks! Sounds like an "excercise" model, with manual everything... Any sunroof?
