Spotted 2 over the weekend. One was a burgandy pearl (i think) J reg G60 parked outside the Jet garage between Rutherglen Main Street and Farmeloan Cross. And the other a red J reg G60 parked outside my mates flat in the West end of Glasgow (Hyndland area) J*** DTU. Anyone?????

I did both before getting my G60 because I knew absolutely hee-haw about the Raddo's potential pittfalls. I got the £180 one that included an HPI check. HPI check came back clear, inspection flagged up juddering steering whilst braking (warped disc), spare wheel needs securing, handbrake lever shroud loose,interior floor soiled, drivers footrest not properly secured, no cat, rear wiper not fitted, spanner missing from toolkit, nothing really major but the car was in Walsall and I'm not. And not entirely clued up tbh so worth the money for me initially but most likely wouldn't get one again.

What about replacing the pins in the door hinges? Would that help any?

OK here goes. Do you have the wiring for the later switches? If so, just connect the old loom to the new the following way: Early loom Late loom Brown ----------------Brown and Yellow (3) Blue--------------------Brown (8) White------------------Brown and Black (1) Black------------------Black and Yellow (5) Blue and Red--------Grey and Green (2) Yellow and Black---Red/Black (7) and White/Black (6) From memory, the blue wire in the new loom shoule be ignored. Let me know how you get on. 8)

Being a fellow South African myself, may I kindly point out that this scam in fact originated from Nigeria, which places it firmly in North African territory. A different kettle of fish those North Africans. Not to confused with South Africans where they'll just point a gun to your head at a traffic light to get your car. None of this send me cheque bullsh*t :lol: Sorry Eug, didn't mean to offend. That's the only ones I've heard of. 8)

AVOID!!!!! Is this not similar to the South African scam where you give them your bank details and all your money disappears?

Not a daily driver as such for me but is my method of transportation when required. Sits all snuggled up in the garage when not in use with a wee cup of hot chocolate and a nice book. Had it out for the first time in ages the other day after using my girlfriend's 1.9 tdci (?) Laguna. Made me realise how much more I should drive the G.

I think they are Passat steelies and I don't think they ever came as standard on the Corrado.

Thanks guys. They are indeed 15 inch steelies and they'll have to do the job till I can afford the alloys I want. The car suits them quite well IMHO so not in too much of a hurry to spend cash (that i don't have) on some rims.

there is a new Navman pda-stylee one just come into halfords. It's £399.99 and looks much better than the £349.99 medion palmtop pc thing. Had a customer in today looking at it and was well impressed with it. No external gps unit, all in one so less wires and less hassle.

The people in charge of the site should have taken all steps that are practivcably possible to stop unauthorised persons getting onto the site. You should have put in a claim against them :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: scumbags!!!!

I saw scissor doors on pimp my ride like that and thought they were cool (although on a houdu civic). The car formally known as a corsa is just too much :pukeright:

Phone Kenwood direct and ask if they do a convertor. Most likely not and you'll need a new multi-changer at about £200
