I don't think a 1:18 scale has ever been made matey. There are a few smaller (1:43 and the Revel build up one) but none that big IIRC. Been looking for one for a few years now and had no joy.

Yellow J-plate G60 parked up in Paisley. Just off the road that Paisley Grammar is on (I think).

Creative Zen Micro Vs Panasonic Headunit ****UPDATED****
biggrim replied to Furkz's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
Alpine do an mp3 control headunit. Get em' in Halfords. Not sure on price but they are in stock. -
Nothing serious. Was a low speed bump int a Ka and a parked Saxo. Wasn't my fault, all superficial damage (mostly scrapes). Day after I polished it too.

Crashed mine on Friday!

Andy, do I spy a cheekily fitted cig lighter beneath the R.H.S gauge there?

Righto, as promised, The black plastic centre caps... 871 601 171 G60 Steel Wheel ... either 357 601 025M (located on the centre of the wheel near the bolt holes) or 439 291 511 (which is on the rim). I think it'll most likely be the first one matey but check just to be sure. THe wheels are ET35 and 6J wide (I think). Cheers

Hey Majik, you enjoy you're little stay in Glasgow then? Was nice to meet you and put a face to a name. Back on topic. Not sure about the cleaning mate, it was fixed when he was down in Hitchin. It happened a few months ago but the problem has only started happening in the past few weeks. I've just been on the phone to my mate and he told me the guy who replaced the window said that there was a bit missing!!!! He's not sure which bit though as it was a while ago. Could it be the window regulator or the motor that is buggered?

My mate has a 98 Polo and is having a bit of a problem with the drivers side window. Occaisonally, the window will go up fine but it's more often than not struggling to go up and sometimes stops before it gets all the way to the top and closes. He therefore has to slide the window up by hand to close it completely. It all went pear-shaped when some pikey decided to lob a half-brick through his window just foe the hell of it. Before pikey involvement - window works perfect, after pikey involvement and window replaced - window works not so perfect. Anybody got any ideas? I hope it's something cheap and easy to replace cause I've said to him if it is I'll sort it for him. Any input welcome, cheers

Supercharged, can you post up a couple of close up pics so I can see the difference please? Cheers

The one that came with the kit matey. I'm getting a catchtank made up just now so currently goes into an oasis bottle. Had tried putting it over but it just kinked the other way. Hmmmmmm If you can get some piccies up that'd be great. Cheers for yours Ross. You need to give that alternator a clean mate!!! ;)

Still available at the stealers. IIRC, around £35 ish each (not sure if inc or plus VAT). Need to get another one for mine actually as I need a spare. If you're after the part numbers, give me a shout.

Hello there! I've got a 92 G60 and I've fitted a boost return kit. Now, this pipe bit has a bit of a kink in it. Is there a special way to route this to get the kink out or is it just the way it is? Sorry about the guff quality pic, was on the phone camera. Any suggestions are welcome. Cheers

The chassis still rusts as they are made from normal steel. Only the body panels are made from stainless steel. There is a guy in america who makes stainless steel chassis for them as well as doing monster truck and hovercraft delorean's. Nutter

On a Rado you mean? http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... c&start=30

Can we not all chip in and buy the equipment they use to press the rado body parts etc? We'd all save money in the long run i reckon. Seriously tho, not good news for the staff and their families.

Take it to a garage!!!!! Done mine last weekend and it was a pain in the arse. Seriously tho, not that bad, just time consuming and fiddly (well it was for me, first time doing it). Just watch when putting the charger back on that you don't thread any of the bolt holes. Are you doing the pump, thermostat and the housing? The only other thing I'd say (which I found out from Henny after I'd done mine) is replace the crazy clips that hold the coolant pipes on with jubilee clips. Makes life alot easier. Oh, and clean up the mating surfaces as well as you can.

Cheers Joe. It's the same as the old number so I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Alternator is fooked? -
Coolant went in on saturday, coolant warning light flashes today!!!! It has got worse than before! Tries tapping the bit you described Ian but not sure if I got the right bit and there's still no hot air coming out  How much are samco's and do they cover all the coolant pipes? Don't really want to get 'em but I might have no choice.
-
Yip Daz, changed waterpump, seal, thermostat housing and thermostat along with seal. Torque? Quite tight by hand. Didn't break the wrench out for that part. DOH!!!! Please don't tell me I have to take it all to bits again!
-
Didn't change the clips cause I'd been told before that they were the best thing to use. They are a total beeeeatch to get on and off too! Could have saved myself about 20mins by replacing them with jubilee clips. I hope it's not a hose cause they aint cheap from VAG. Would be as well getting samco's! I'll try the hammer tappy trick tomorrow if I get the chance. I'll keep you posted with the results of the use of old faithful.
