TPS were a life saver for me....really helped out with the parts and numbers with the 4wd and turbo build. Supplied me with endless diagrams and cross referenced other parts across the range I could use. Guys in my local branch were real petrol heads too. Things have changed over the last few years tho (think they got bought out), as they seem to be more sales/target driven. Still great tho and provide gen parts and prices often cheaper than ECP or GSF and with a discount if your cheeky enogh to ask!

Congrats mate! VERY IMPRESSIVE! How did the C handle at that speed? what was the wind noise like? Been watching the videos and getting an adrenalin rush just watchin them!!!
-
standard dishes are 8", if your dishes are 8.5" with a 20mm/25mm spacer that would make them et33/et28
-
27mm could make the wheels stick out of the arches, they might fail you because the wheels stick out further than the body! 5mm spacers are cheap as chips and availabe from halfords or motorserv, I ran 5mm spacers for a few years with standard bolts with no probs. Or you could just take the arch liners out!?
-
Look like they fit really well! Take it there et35? What tyres are you running? I was planning on 205/40/17 tread all round. Front 8x17 with 10mm spacers so et25 Rear 8.5 17 with 30mm spacers so et-2 (i think!)
-
Take it they are fouling on the innerside of the wheel on the inside of the arch/suspension? If so get some 5mm spacers from halfords, you should be able to use them with standard wheel bolts. Be carefull when using bolts that are too long as you could damage the ABS ring that sits behind the hub hope that helps!

Damn it! you beat me to it! LOL look very cool mate! Need to pull my finger out and get some rubber and get mine fitted...... What widths did you go for in the end?
-
bought mine from these guys, bang on price and quality: http://www.ebay.de/itm/4-Zentrierringe-72-5-57-1-RH-Artec-Borbet-VW-Audi-/170565286410?pt=DE_Autoteile&hash=item27b67bba0a although mine were 64mm to 57.1

Guess I uprated too many parts to give a objective answer, the gearbox bracket is defo a hefty piece of metalwork though
-
I' d bet on the above, my N reg valver never had one fitted and there was some movement. When I changed gear boxes (ironicaly to a much older box) I fitted the brace and there is absoloutely no movement in the gearstick. And the older box's cable support bracket is not even mounted on rubber bushes, just directly to the box.

Is there one? Dont think I have been to one since april 2010! lol Or do people from just go to the end of the month VAG one at Willen?
-
LOL - knew someone would say that...I agree, but the BBS just dont fill the arches, especially on the back.
-
Right have started playing arround with the rims now, not sure if I am feeling the bling bling tho....... Test fitted: Also removed side strips...should have done it years ago!!!
-
It's strange mine is like that from some angles...just not a very tight fit for some reason. Think is from other angles it looks fine!
-
Surprised MRC didnt want to tune it....have you tried Ben at Revo?

My 2p worth.... I have yet to find another car that is as cheap to run, as fun to work on, looks as good and is as reliable....even when modded :) Have been happily using mine for 3 years, in that time it was used for 6months plus a daily and never let me down once, even in hornedous snow or summer when other newer cars just could not hack it. Costs wise insurance is peanuts under a classic policy and will leave you to play arround with your NCB on another car. The other car i run now is a B7 RS4 and to be honest I enjoy driving both cars equally as much. As for running costs the corrado wins hands down! lol

Hi mate, Do you have the front ashtray and the tray that it sits in, which screws to the front console? Cheers

Great motor, really rate them looks great in red! My brother just got one a few months back in black pearl, he said exactly the same thing about the brakes too! Have you got the number plaque? if not you can still request it from VW -
Not sure if this has been posted before...... howmanyleft.co.uk/?q=vw+corradohowmanyleft.co.uk/?q=vw+corrado Quite a drop in the curve!!
-
Have took out the washer res to help, also considering sticking in the oem tt airbox, as it will probably be cheaper and more effective than any of the other fancy ones on the market. Cheers, will check them out lol

Awsome cars mate...the V8 is something else though! power, delivery and noise is epic lol almost sounds supercharged?
-
Thanks for your comments fellas....some very usefull thoughts. Think I will defo go for some kind of shield to protect from direct heat, not to keen on wrap though. My turbo sits very low as well, tucked quite close to the block, might just add another small fan. Not sure about removing the seal....car allready smells of the silicone hoses sometimes, does that smell from the hoses never go? lol
