I guess you didn't pay by credit card, I always do, as it makes applying pressure to sellers easier.

Just sold a VAG workshop manual, telling you how to fit it :)
-
Agree with this. I have one of these and there have been no issues yet. The clutch is not really any heavier than standard either, which is nice! :D Sweet! Don't need one yet, but defo one for the wish list! Any good links to sellers of the Helix clutch kit? Cheers
-
Cheers, is it worth getting a lightened/balanced flywheel aswell? as you really have to rev the engine to get the best performance?
-
Can anyone shed light on these readouts from vagcom??? Copy of vagcom1.jpg[/attachment:25xhbzx1] Car is only getting about 12-14mpg at the mo aswell :gag: with normal driving

Done about 1000miles on the clutch. Didn't expect that kind of monumental slippage tho :confused4: Will look into helix....

After getting my alignment done car seems to gripping a hell of alot better, too much so! Pulled up at the lights, then attempted to make a quick getaway (next to v6 4mo LOL), got initial traction with no wheel spin, however as the boost came in the brand new LUK clutch just gave up!? and the car just revved its t*its off? and I smelt toasted clutch! Pulled over checked everything and all was fine! apart from my pride LOL What clutch do any turbo peeps recommend? Thought the standard g60/VR6 clutch would have been up to the job

 WOW some serious work going on here!

Looks very tidy mate, I so want a mk1!

Yep they are lensos, they have a better offset than the BBS and are 16", car feels much more rooted with 16s, dunno if it's the bigger offset + skinny/stretch tyres though?

Refurbed wheel pics: The inspiration: (BMW M5 wheels black chrome) ETKA Corrado.pdfCB2.jpg[/attachment:9wmqszml] My BBX RX done and fitted, colour is strange, looks chrome in pics but is more grey in real life, think the 3rd pic down captures it: stromlaufplan_gamma4.pdfbbs0.jpg[/attachment:9wmqszml] Corrado92.pdfbbs1.jpg[/attachment:9wmqszml] passat climatronic wiring diags.pdfbbs2.jpg[/attachment:9wmqszml] climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfbbs3.jpg[/attachment:9wmqszml] Fully refurbed by BJV Also had a play with these: 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfbsx1.jpg[/attachment:9wmqszml] bsx2.jpg[/attachment:9wmqszml] Any opinions on what wheels look better??

Just wondered if anyone knew what kind of power drop you'd expect if you had a leaking exhaust? with a 20vt engine running 270bhp? Reason being I have 2 leaks :( one from the back of the turbo to downpipe flange, and the other between the slip joint before the back box. Its very annoying but the exhaust is still under warranty so its not my problem to fix it. Cheers

Thinking about raising mine slightly as the suspension has settled a little now, going for a 4 wheel alignment next week, as the front wheels are way off. Have to admit after doing well over 1000 miles in it the rears tyres seem to be wearing pretty well, even with the camber.
-
Right mine is on 17" BBS, the middle of the rear arch is approx 61cm off the floor: climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfcamber1.jpg[/attachment:3n6o1m2l] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfcamber2.jpg[/attachment:3n6o1m2l] camber3.jpg[/attachment:3n6o1m2l]

Camber! have took some pics and will be uploading them asap!
-
TBH the rears have not worn too bad at all, which is surprising looking at the camber, the camber is annoying tho. The fronts tyres have been wrecked tho, my fault for not paying for a proper alignment after having everything apart I guess. Would be interested in seeing your camber solution tho :)

Losses in transmision?! Does anyone knows something about?

I would try the syncro forum for this kind of detailed advice. Admittedly 4wd does make the car feel boring LOL -
Feels great to be back the C after a long while hey? LOL Hows your rear camber? Also see you mentioned alignment, mine has completely destroyed a new set of tyres? wish I'd got that sorted before putting on new tyres :censored:

:gag: Only 3 spoke I've ever liked are saab and the fiesta rs turbo. Think you'll struggle to sell these to any dubber!
