Was wondering what exactly do you get with an HPI check? I was under the impression that you would get a record of Insurance write off,stolen,plate changes,mileage etc. If that is the case do dealers also have access to a higher level of check? I thought that vehicles were only recorded if they were write offs. Can they have access to any accidental damage records,I ask as I think someone is bullsh***ing me,in an attempt to get money off my car. :!: Surely not I here you say :!: :!: :lol: :lol:

It will only be as good as the person who has done the conversion.Ie how good or bad a mechanic they are how much cash has been thrown at it ,what corners have been cut? If it was me I would be inclined to do it myself,that way you know exactly what you are getting. If a jobs worth doing ....and all that.

Well 10 years old today 100k miles and still going strong.Been busy with some serious elbow grease polishing furiously. 8) But car beginning to really shape up now as you can see from the new pics,some before and after shots really show how faded the C was. Now looking good only bonnet and bit of passenger side to do. Some very minor paintwork needs tidied and the interior will be coming out for a full valet :lol: Hopefully a set of coilovers will sort out the ride height and I`ve got some wheels up my sleeve for her :lol:

Was wondering if anyone has any pics of fully colour coded mirrors? Thinking about painting the black edge of the mirror frame in the body colour.Anyone done it ,how does it look. 8) Also on the list is the door handles. Any pics would be appreciated. :)

bristolbaron, Electric leather Recaros went for £1638 on E-Bay last week.So about £1k cheaper for cloth,sounds fair to me.In my opinion the cloth Recaros are more desirable than standard leather and standard leather goes for anything between £600 and £1000. 8)

Break it electric Recaro interior worth £750 at least,the car in total is probably worth £1200-£1500.

Black leather need a bit of tlc but will be fine once thay are clean 8)

Funny mine was the same when I bought it.Seems quite common for them to work loose,just make sure they are torqued up properly and that puts a stop to them loosening 8)
