I just went to the post office and sent another item and bought a hard tube to put the badge into, already wrapped with tissue paper and the hard tube will protect it. The tube cost me 79 pence, plus postage, got to be about ~£2.00. So 2.79 for delivery. first class recorded

Can you send me a picture of yours so I can see the difference myself. I've just looked at them closely and they have no deep scratches at all, even the slightest of marks are very hard to see without your eye ball being on them... I am a fuss pot too so I can safely say I would install them in mine had I not have had mine trimmed. Your the judge anyway but just curous as to how much better you need them to be? Your might have the smallest scratch which is difficult to see but if you have that much attention to detail for that then perhaps buying new if the way forward if they are available? I would say with my fussy head on, they are 8 out of 10 from perfection.
