  1. Lol. It does smell good. So, I will look out for someone with a screw driver and a van! Ha ha. I'll make sure I don't leave the car unlocked! Just confirmed with Craig and we will be heading up for National day, if we can meet people along the way even better.
  2. Sure thing. Happy to do cash on collection as well. Can you send me your tel number to have a quick chat. Cheers Rams Now sold to doughboy pending collection
  3. I will be making every effort to make it, will see who else might be going along from my neck of the woods. Hope to catch up with you
  4. some more pics, not the finished article yet....
  5. Hi Craig, curry night sounds good and date works for me.. Is that a confirmed date and if so, shall we book or have you booked a table? Re seals. I will have a look and double check.... Good luck with fitting the blower, my dad is at Chubbys tomorrow having his car checkout. Buddy, I wanted to have all matching trim and as I've changed everything to Porsche Nappa leather, the rear seats needed done and door cards. Now all in leather- no vinyl! Hopefully my old seats will sell. Appreciate the comments as always. The trimmer said he would do a final fit and clean/heat areas just to make things spot on. I need to collect my handbrake handle once that's done and he's doing the parcel shelf next and boot liner and sides. Going to go for a spin to later with my adjuster and play around with the stiffness. I think the front are too soft and the rear. I noticed some rubbing on my near side tyre wall but they were slightly worn as they were rubbing on the previous car.... But I might need to lift the rear just a small amount. Then re seal the inner arch as some of the sealant has been rubbed away.
  6. Hey, The rear door cards are in and rear seats, just about to put the seat belt clips on and a few other bits and give her a quick wash. I will try and get all the undertrays fitted tomorrow if I can find a place to stick the very large front cross overs. The leather needs a clean and final fittment as I will be replacing some bent clips so they are all clicked in place. so the pictures show the dust and dirt etc so will try and tidy that up tomorrow. The rear of the seats have been alcantara trimmed which will start flowing with the boot re trim that will follow. update in a bit
  7. Hi all I am selling my very nice condition genuine Corrado leather rear seats and bench with hump. Does not include arm rest. No rips or tears, only removed as I bought a cloth set and had them retrimmed. Collection preferred from Bournemouth or could deliver if within 20 - 30 miles at additional cost. Looking to sell to a Corrado forum member for £160. It does come with a gunuine warning triangle as pictured. If theres no real interest will pop them on ebay. The second picture has a dent but only because the seats belt buckles were pressing in, it will go back into shape once the foam has relaxed. Thanks Rams
  8. That looks really top notch, subtle and practical. Nicest one I've seen
  9. Please add me to the list, what are rough costings without a group buy?
  10. Cheers James, Appreciate your comments, some like and some don't like the vent but as the car is dark coloured it doesn't jump out at you and surely it must give me 25 bhp more power! Lol
  11. Hey guys, The fun and games...... its a bit of a long story, will save that one for the curry night but he re did the driverside issues, new rear quatre glass in as I was never happy with the extra silicone used to cover a damage rubber when the old was removed when it was painted the first time. The door card didnt fit quite right as you coukld see a bigger gap between rear door card and window. Now sorted and tidy. The interior is nearly there. I'm quite looking forward to seeing it all in. Everything will look brand new except for my front seats! Kip, your not wrong mate. If only we could paint ourselves! Craig, lets set a date for Curry night. John will never turn a curry down and we can let him know when. You have been waiting ages, are they coming via donkey? I'm debating now what to do next in terms of performance? Hurry up and get that blower fitted so I can see what its like
  12. Shes's back where she belongs!! Picked her up earlier this evening from the spray painter after a bit of fun and games shall we say but only had a quick inspection as it was raining. But it looks good. So I'm pleased. Managed a few snaps whilst filling up with some v power goodness
  13. Here here! Feel for you watching her drive off, that's one car worthy of being called Mint. All the best
  14. I would say your best bet is to try and seclude your driveway, maybe fencing or equivalent which will stop the kids riding over your lawn. If you fight fire with fire and they are dickheads you risk them damaging your car. Especially if he's not happy with the noise and waking their kids. I would say just be cool, keep an eye on things and try and just ignore them. Maybe drive into your driveway nose first so the exhaust isn't as loud buffeting against the walls. I've run a Lettings business for a while and know too well what neighbours can be like. I know your probably thinking, where is the best place you could stand and shoot him without being seen! Lol Seriously though, don't let him walk over you but remain calm. Keep us posted on how you get on.
  15. Don't connect it if your running any upgraded wiring loom buddy, are your lights working and functioning properly?
  16. Good work and nice to see a can of the finest in there! I was born and bread in Scotland!
  17. The storm doesn't necessarily come with air con, it's an optional extra. As we're the recaros and head lamp washer jets as part of a winter pack effectively, oh and the irresistible recaro electric heated leather seats! Personally, nice leather and air con or a working sunroof model will be a bonus. Others have retro fitted AC so again, that could be something you wish to add or even climate control.
  18. Need to check code on the box and get back to you. Will check tomorrow as I need to check some other part details on some other bits I've been asked about. Cheers
  19. I have a storm as I always wanted one but the best way to buy is on body work and engine, regardless if its a storm or not. You can find better specked vr6's with air con, leather and washer lamps. If your someone that has a fixation on having a storm then they do demand a higher price. Your biggest bills are likely to come from body work and hidden rot so just look out for as best condition vr you can find as plenty of spare parts available, good second hand market for parts especially on this forum. That's my advice anyway. I'm sure you know the difference and during your corrado search you will probably be able to answer your own question. Good luck. Ps there a vr6 that's just been posted for sale in Bournemouth near me and as I'm based there would be happy if you wanted me to have a look.... Rams
  20. Hey, I'm based in Bournemouth and can assist with rear beam as removed from my storm. Also have late red passenger door and gearbox but bought as spare from mk3 vr6 and never heard it running. Door £35.00, gearbox £40, rear beam £40. Perhaps I'm further away than you were looking at travelling....
  21. LOL! No punks allowed! New Rule Blimey, just hope they dont wear their jeans inside out!
  22. Loving what you are doing with the car James, the fact there's more fine tuning goes to show just how well these cars can drive and you just know where the improvements can be made\adjusted. Have you considered a stronger front ARB? I am running the Eiback one and it does feel quite stable, especially on lift off over steer. There is something special about owning a C thats been unloved and transforming them. You fully appreicate every little upgrade or improvement.
  23. Thanks guys, Might have to insist that no jeans are worn with metal tags! My original leather rear seats will be for sale soon if anyone wants them? They are in excellent condition. (Black leather) failing that, is the best place ebay to move them on? What sort of money do you think I should ask or is reasonable? Rear seat bench and seats. Hopefully in the next week or 2 I should have her back.
  24. Great pics, nice to see the C's being admired
  25. Looking to buy some wheels for my gfriends Audi TT for her birthday. (It's a quattro coupe 180 bhp) Thinking of the 225 bhp TT wheels - 9 spokes or something that looks nice. If you have anything or know someone that might, please give me a shout. Her birthday is the 12th April. Cheers Rams
