I've done both to mine, belt and braces.... Loom which is simple cut n shut of I think brown wire with fuse holder. And mats headlight switch... it's rather bright. But a dab of black paint on the led calms it down. Think they were about 25 quid last time around but he did mention a slight price increase this time. Also a good thing to do is... their is a possibility of glove box and boot light shorting out... not looked at mine for a few years but the long electrical bar contact that goes round the bulb I've put some heat sink on. To hopefully eliminate this.

While were on electrics origional headlight switch is a known fire risk. Either fit inline fuse in the loom or buy one of mats LED version switch. Inline fuse mod here http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?49497-Headlight-switch-and-loom-fires-DIY-prevention&highlight=Headlight+switch+fuse Or get your name down for one of matts. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?96213-2017-Headlight-Switch-group-buy-is-a-go!&highlight=Headlight+switch

Bit like these... just take the roll pin out... put a picture of yours up first we will tell you if their origional. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CORRADO-Corrado-door-handle-repair-kit-both-doors-WC898517-/182024843343?hash=item2a6186b04f:g:T3cAAOSwKtVWwclA

Heritage have some new ones for about 40 quid... need to check the part number. Needs to be new or a1 condition for my car.. will check and maybe get back to you. I have a spare in the loft but it's a square one from a valver that didn't have the rear hump on the back seat. Cheers chris yes black.

Pleased for you mate... if you have the doorcards out it's worth changing the strikers on your door handles... another known weakness of the corrado. They eventually break and leave you locked out. Dave on here sells them or you can buy them off eBay... made of stainless as opposed to cheap monkey metal that breaks about 25 quid a set. Well worth doing If you intend to keep the car.. I guess yours are origional. If your taking door handles out one screw is left hand thread one is right hand thread. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?10426-Door-handle-repair-kit-THEY-ARE-NOW-AVAILABLE&highlight=Door+handle+repair+kit.

Does an early boot carpet fit in a late car ? I want the extra hump in the carpet so I can fit a full size spare like early cars had as opposed to the silly size spare late cars have. I have a spare Speedline that I want to fit in the boot. I know the carpet for a car without the hump rear seat is different.

Yup this will test you.... but it's possible... took me about a day just to get the one screw in and out... few bent screwdrivers and a mirror your be okay... Mine was about 30 quid from the dealer, bought genuine like you as I only want to do the job once.

I know nothing about electrics.. but is it worth changing the ignition switch... PITA to do, but if yours has never been changed it would be a good idea to change for the future... switches are quite cheap and they break up. Changed mine a few years ago as I was not getting a switched positive. Ignore me if I'm talking a load of rubbish.... I realise it doesn't solve the flashing and clicking. Theirs a wiki on how to do it. http://wiki.the-corrado.net/ignition_switch_replacement.html

Vw supplied a really rubbish tool to remove the plugs.. it was sometimes fixed to the bonnet stay and sometimes in the tool kit. Most cars I've seen don't have one... Sealey one of eBay is okay. Out of the village until next week. Otherwise you could of borrowed mine... Let me know when you decide to sell:) we could wheel her down to the church :) Only joking your doing that car proud. Looking forward to seeing the car on the road. White is my favourite colour.

Looking good Sean.. giving me a bit of inspiration to do mine... but not till the weather warms up a bit. Chris are the brake lines your talking about from the guy down in Cornwall. He's not been on here for a while. Must investigate some as I'm collecting bits for the rear end.
