Just taken the alpine out and gone back to the vintage Sony CD player... Hum problems. Stereo works direct from battery. But wired in it sometimes works with the ignition on and sometimes doesn't. No explaination.... Immobiliser possibly... . It also doesn't hold a station memory... Wondering if I have a later loom so may need to swap the red and yellow wire over.... Thoughts Off to find wiring diagram...

Insurance doesn't have to be for a year... You could just insure it for a month or even a week. Tax you can pay monthly.

It's the wrong grease, but doubt that would kill it.... I would guess motor brushes...

Wendy do you know anything about the classic car show there on August bank holiday it suggests VW. Only 30 mins down the road for me. I have a year pass too. Been to the triathlon and flower show already this year... On holiday for American classics though.

Yes always take a variety of keys to goodwood... As it happens I do have an Audi A4 and 4 series grand coupe. But the BMW lounge wasn't too bothered who you were as you could buy food from them at reasonable price.. But they did tea coffee water and snacks free. Quite a nice lounge but only a view of the screen in front of the house. Nice to have some shade in afternoon.

Wanna take one of my external door handles out tomorrow, have an idea what I intend to do... But can anyone give me a step by step guide. I assume the end screw is handed one left hand and one right hand thread. Does the door card need to be removed ? If so how's best to do the clips at the bottom. Ta for any info... Had a brief search is there any mechanical that attach to the handle.

What colour where they refurbed, do they match OE colour rims, guess the centre caps were never sprayed do the rims match. Tempted... What's the date stamp ?

Nothing chuggs, it should be blackberry, but some peeps call it something different. I used to think it was similar to the old style Cadbury dairy milk bar.
