Henny i agree with the principle of pressure loss but allows the coolant to boil at a much lower temp and so creates hard pipes and air in the system. dont trust logic on this one as i have had about 8 like this in the last couple of years. i may well be wrong but dont disregard something that could be that simple. -
what holds the heat shield in place?

check the seal in the cap as these get deformed and need pressure to raise boiling point -
was wandering if anyone has fitted an uprated pump to their G60. if so what did you use and what was the price. gonna replace mine soon and thought about a better one to allow for future mods.

ignition switch & earth cable changed..no difference!!
exturbo2003 replied to aks_uk's topic in Archive
why do you disconnect the battery for? is the ignition on or are you being precausious. mine did the same and it was cured by putting a live feed to the fuel pump wire output on the back of the fuse board when the ignition is off, this allowed the car to stop http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9519 -

right this is a bit hard to explain but if you open the drivers door and latch the catch you can try this out :? at the front of the catch where the latch comes down and locks is a little locking tab that when you pull the handle drops, well if you push this with a piece of welding wire or similar the catch pops and so the door opens  it is hard to do on a closed door but a bit of patience and you will be sorted makes sense when you look at the drivers catch  make sure you put some masking tape on the door edge and body to stop you scratching the paint work. hope this helps

even if there is 12v at the trigger wire it still doesn't mean the starter it could be the battery. if there is 12v on the trigger wire connect your multimeter to the big red wire and turn the key, if the voltage drops below 6v the batterys knackered.

can you tell me if they go through any relays please :D
