http://mma.tv/tuf/index.cfm?ac=ListMess ... ID=2&pc=27 That link still works too. Think the pictures may differ slightly from the sonikempire link

Sounds good to me! I'd also be interested in the plug and play.
-
I can't find the words to convey how funny that is

Jesus Christ thats some bad luck! I'm afraid i can't be of any help just offering my sympathy. It looks really smart in the bottem pic. so could be worth trying to buy it back. Good luck sorting it out.

Hmmm I appreciate you probably can not use bump stops, but as you say the first pot hole you hit it'll smash the top mounts off? I know a guy who'll fit it for me now, and he'll do it properly ;)
-
Yeah i aim to get coilovers in the not too distant future, just as one of my rear shocks is leaking badly i needed something sharpish and this kit came up at the right time for next to nothing so its just a temporary fix.
-
No no, he hasn't seen the kit yet as the cars not booked in for a couple of weeks. It was Blakes Services. Very close garage and seems good enough for most things, but i was a bit dubious about what he said. He did also say sod anything but the bilstein PSS9 kits, he's never seen a kit as good as those. So i might get saving...
-
Yeah thats what i thought, and as i've got a brand new set supplied by you with the kit, why the hell doesn't he just put them on? I might just get my mate to fit the kit really cos he'll do it cheaper, and he knows what he's doing. You'd expect an actual independant specialist to know what he's doing though...

I took my car to a local vw specialist earlier to book it in for a few things, one of which was fitting a lowering kit. I got new bump stops with the kit that i believe will need to be trimmed down by the 40mm the kit lowers the car. I asked the guy about this and he said he wouldn't bother putting the bump stops on?! If you're hitting the bump stops then you've got a problem anyway. I was a bit taken back by this comment and thought i'd get some more advice, surely you need them incase you bottem out as it were. Cheers

Well he'll have a hoot with it. Although in the hour we were driving it, nearly used half a tank of fuel! Not a cheap car to have, and thats coming from a young lad with a vr haha.
-
I thought it was even less than that! Something like 4.5-5k or every 6 months... Equally ridiculous.

My friend works for Mitsubishi, and was told he should borrow the top spec evo 9 fq360 press car for the weekend. Just so he knows what they're like when he's trying to book them out to people. He's also 21 so we got some funny looks driving the thing round this afternoon. I just want to say how impressed i was with it! I never really think much of the showoff over the top jap cars. But this thing performs rather well... It was a nice quiet and comfortable ride, then when you want to there is just effortless power. Casually cruising in 6th gear, then when you put your foot down it throws you into the seat like my little vr does in 2nd! If i had a spare 35k i'm not sure i'd go out and buy a new one, but the second hand ones are floating round at a reasonable price these days. Big thumbs up from a grinning 21 year old anyway.

The old mans corrado is a mix of my last two cars, a polo squareback and my rado. Its definatly the least offensive of the bunch!
-
Awww its already been and gone :( Cheers though
-
You mean you have one? Because last time i checked a brand new one wasn't an excellent price... I must also stress how skint i am :(
-
My car is dragon green... So should be roughly the same colour :)
-
I've posted on that dragon green breaking in the for sale section, think thats till got a bonnet up for grabs for not very much money :) I wouldn't claim on my insurance as i'm only 21, don't have protected no claims and rely on them to afford the insurance. Plus my excess is huge :(
-
Well i took my car to ColourTech in Wooten and they said that the strut leading under the bonnet is bent too. So any change of forcing that back out would most likely make things worse. They said they have a bonnet but it would be over 600 quid to have it painted and fitted so clearly not worth it. What an utter fucker

Z4's look like the car Peter gets in Family Guy to compensate for having a small cock... Whenever i see them i just think of that.
-
cheers jazzdevil, might be down again this weekend, i'll pm you for details if i am.
-
Hopefully it is, and can just be pulled out with a sucker. But there is a fold in it, that looks like it won't come out. But i shall try my luck first!

I was so enraged when it first happened that i entered a melancholy state... Just daydreaming about what i'd do the person had i caught them in the act. Crazy with revenge, but still calm due to the intense hangover i was suffering.
-
It was parked just down from portswood highstreet. My gf lives literally next door to Mayday, some car modifying centre that i havent investigated... I saw a very smart red corrado driving through portswood at the weekend too, really stood out.
-
I crawled out of bed this morning with quite the hangover, looked out of the window to check on my car as usual, and could see some sort of dirt on the roof so went out to investigate. Some utter wanker decided to run over all the cars on that side of the road last night, and jumped off the car infronts roof onto my bonnet!! It was parked up in Southampton outside my girlfriends flat where i normally wouldn't worry about leaving it. I'm soooooo gutted and enraged at the same time!!! Cant believe the sort of person who thinks its a great way to show off, ruining peoples beloved cars. The roofs ok, just the dent in the bonnet which looks like it'll pull out, although there is a small crease line where a strengthening strut runs underneath. Pics dont' show it very well :( No reason for the post other than closure.

Some bbs rx's, off a guy on this forum. Getting a bit off topic but they're mint condition too literally look brand new!! Really pleased with them :)
