Definately get a fail safe best £15 you'll ever spend on the car I once had my reciever batteries die on me in my old nitro truck and it decided to go wide open throttle on me with no way of stopping it!!! It ended up in a pond for 3 days, eventually got it out of the manky water and it was dead as a dodo :( :D :D As for the corrado shells you wont be able to get one till I say so :D I will do another group buy in the next month or so hopefully but cant guarantee anything yet!! Is the car you've bought second hand or new???

autosol might be a bit abrasive for plastic. This link will be your best bet http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/3298.htm if it works on mobile phones it'll work on radio faces :D

Same as!!! I ve always used the timing mark on the flywheel as well but the pulley marks on the std pulley's are still fine for timing shouldn't ever be out enough to actually be a tooth out!!!
-
Dont think thats possible steve never come across that one before. There are 2 pulleys the one that directly attaches to the crank ( with woodruff key between crank and pulley) and the other crank pulley ( that sits on the main crank pulley and runs the poly V belt that attaches to the main crank pulley via a small dowel pin) So theres no fear of it being out enough to cause problems. If there is wear and tear on the main crank pulley then change it and also change the bolt for a golf bolt with an engine code of DX as it's alot stronger than trhe PG stretch bolt!! Both are cheap enough from the stealers anyway. It could be an expensive mistake if you dont change them aint that right Henny LOL we've been there done that and got the T-shirt and the cuts and bruises, oh and the empty wallets too LOL

I dont know about the subs but I ve been running an older series directed amp for the past 4 years on my vibe 15" and is superb quality I want to upgrade to 2x12" JL audios next and run a directed mono block amp as they are class!!! The 15" sub is good for really low slow bass but I want a more punchy quicker reacting sub to the kind of music I play now so 2x 12"'s will be ideal as they react alot faster than a single 15"!! As they are an american brand probablyyour best bet would be to do a search worldwide for reviews they seem to be very highly rated in the US as they are being used y some of the top show winning ice competitions!!
-
Directed make some awesome amps http://caraudiosecurity.com/catalog/product_info.php+manufacturers_id+21+products_id+2205 This amp is particularly good you could run the 2 sets of components off this and a single 12" sub r you could run it in series with 2 12" subs and get a smaller 2 channel amp to run the 2 sets of components. There are plenty of really good subs out on the market my personal favorites are the JL-12W3V2D4 they have a good quality bass output and have a reasonable price you can find them here http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product ... 1163&tab=1 for £179 a pop. With all that installed it will look the part and also have a very good sound system IMPO

FAO all you etka users, Update:- onto question 2 please
Banana Man replied to Rossco's topic in Archive
i always thought the rev limiter just cut the spark? You would be right nigel :D It's more likely to be the fuel pump after run relay!!! IMHO -
no i havent but I haven't a clue with electrics like this too many wires LOL Will get the diagram off the bentley cd and will try and find the ignition wire from there and see if that sorts it

FAO all you etka users, Update:- onto question 2 please
Banana Man replied to Rossco's topic in Archive
In etka it lists it as a a fuek pump retardation relay whatever that means???? But looking at the diagram and location it doesn't make sense as it says it locates in relay position 13, which is the abs pump relay according to the bentley manual. I personally think it is probably the fuel pump after run relay. Where on your relay panel is it located is it above the main 2 rows of relays up on the top of the fuse box??? If it is then I would put my money on it being the after run relay! Hope this helps! -
I should think so as they are 17's as well and they are quite heavy!!!
-
DHL definately carried my set of 17" diablo's nect day for £35 they were in box's with cardboard diveiders between them!!! I was aloso looking in the post office yesterday that they charge £9 something for first class upto the weight of 30kg so may also be worth trying that one as that will still be under £40 if wrapped individually
