Just upgraded my headlight harness -- pics!
Banana Man replied to g60rado's topic in Suppliers Forum
I ve just got round to actually upgrading my loom I ve had all the parts now for a few months but have never got round to doing now that I have done it I dont know why I haven't done it before the lights are excellent now and for the measly £5 for the parts it's well worth doing it as well :D -
Might have to forget about getting my wheels refurbed and powder coated and buy a set of Azevs it has really wet my appetite again posting that picture I think the banana would look hot with those wheels :D
-
Yeah definately one of the old skool classics as well!!
-
I still love the Azev A alloys they are a classic design that still hasn't dated even though they are getting on a bit now
-
Seems a bit iffy to me no service history from 35k onwards been owned for 4 years and in dry storage for 2 years and been a dailt driver for quote ' a few years' that makes five years and also if it's been a daily driver for a few years how come it's only done 6k in all that time, I would expect at least double that if it's been a daily driver!!! Plus it's a hooker so worth about half the price of a uk rhd Just my 0.2p's worth And no I dont give refunds :D

Brian Rose the chairman and treasurer of the club has now left the club for reasons that will become clear at the EGM so basically we will hopefully be putting forward names for new candidates for the role and get the club up and running on top form again

Cant see that passat rs bumper lasting long if he actually drives about with it that low fiberglass and tarmac dont go together very well as I found out with my golf rs front bumperit was demolished within about 3 mnths

Check the anti roll bar bushes I had one come out of the eye bolt on the drivers side and when you steered into a corner it would start to turn in as normal and then suddenly jerk and turn abrubtly scared the sh*t out of the first time as I was on a dual carriage way and had a car on my left that I was overtaking which I nearly hit!!! Worth a look anyway!!!
-
Nah why not go the whole hog and have a 310 race cam in it like I had in my mk2 golf for a little while :D great when your on the motorway but an absolute pig to drive round town as it was all at top end and the idle was absolute sh*t, about as lumpy as you could get :)

This is a picture of nothelle's corrado!! Not really my cup of tea but each to their own I suppose
-
What d'ya think found this on the corrado club america website not a bad photoshop effort shame about the wheel choice
-
Thats not too bad really!! shame I could have helped you out if it had of been the drivers side as I have a VR6 wing sitting in my shed in great condition you could have had that and just got it sprayed . Is the bodyshop that have quoted you £180 replacing the wing for that amount or are they just going to fill it if they're just going to fill it then I think you would be better off finding someone else, at max for a repair of the wing and a blow over of the wing you should only be looking at about £100-£120 to cover labour and materials
-
Tsr perforformance down in bridgewater do the vibra tech mounts they can be quite dear though so be prepared to spend £220+ on all 3 of the mounts.
-
Dextron type 2 is vw aproved (or the comma dextron type 2 is anyway ) which is auto transmission fluid and it is red you can always get the slick 50 power steering fluid that contains ptfe which is very good for curing any weeps in the system that is also dextron type 2 certified and sae aproved
