why dont you try the volvo turbo intercooler LowG should fit a treat and with the size of it you would get wicked efficiency. there's one on ebay at the moment for sale pictured below and is only up for £26 so far

Alright chris just to let you know the tent aint needed now mate I got a billy bargain off e bay for £20 for a brand new 3 man dome :D . Who's going up on the friday and where are you coming from as I have got the day off so I can leave whenever it would be nice to meet up before and convoy down there so all us c owners can pitch near each other :D

I have to say I totally agree with you VR6storm I think the zender kit is hideous. I am am sticking with the m3 side skirts the cup diffuser and at probably in the next few weeks I will be doing some chopping, changing and grafting on my spare bumper that I have to allow maximum airflow into the FMIC I have planned, got my eye on a nice starion turbo cooler or audi rs intercooler :D

You could aways fit a vr6 rad and run 2 pacet electric fans without the need to use the cowling which would foul on the g charger. here's a couple of pics of the one I have just bought of john at PD as you can see it is much thinner than the standard g60 fan but it has a better flow rate than the standard one it will also give me some vital space as I can do away with the cowling which takes up so much room. anyway here's the pics. Just got to make the brackets for it now!! the dimensions of the fan by the way are 11"x 2" which is considerably less than the standard fan with cowling

VR Zen Are you 100% sure it is still available as when I last tried to get a couple more the stealers were showing 4 on the computer system scattered across the country but when it actually came to getting them they weren't available the computer lies or my mate at VAG does :D

I wont use anything else than optimax combine that with an octane booster it runs so sweeeeeettt!! try running it on optimax for a few weeks then try normal super plus and you will see the difference optimax makes!! :D

I ve got a schabak model corrado the quality is pretty damn good the spoiler goes up and down the bonnet opens and the doors open it's quality :D

I would leave it on there chap you never know how it will go it's usually the last day or so that people really start bidding you could get more than you bargained for!! I guess your selling it to make way for a VR then going by you handle

There could be a bare wire somewhere on the harness which could cause it to short out occasionaly thats the only thing I can think of that would cause a alternator to die prematurely it's usually the battery that dies if there is a power drain somewhere it should be an 065 or 075 box type and be of at least 50amp output. If the alternator has gone within a year then it would still be under guarantee from GSF they are usually pretty good if you still have the receipt for it give them a ring.

I think I'm already down as a donator for helping you out with your suspension andi but what the hell here's a fiver anyway for the best corrado forum this side of the universe :D

I think we established in the other thread about VR vs G60 is that there isn't much between them apart from the fact that you can pick up really good G60's for under £4.5k and spend the money save on some essential mods like supercharger rebuild, chip and pulley which will bring the power upto the same standard as the VR whereas the VR tends to be a little more expensive to buy and to mod it costs alot more. My advise is that you go for test drives in both to see which one you prefer and make a decision after that as andyg60 said I think you'll be hard pushed to find a good example of a vr with leather trim for under £5k. Oh and welcome to the forum by the way :D

Going by my timing slips from the pod I can definately say that my car is sub 9 secs as at 1/8th of a mile @74mph my elapsed times are around 9.5 secs so 0-60 is probably around 7-8secs this is only a rough figure but it is defo lower than 9 secs for sure!!

I wouldn't do it if I were you paul it is very much a bodgers way of lowering your car it may look slightly better but the reallity of it is that you would permanantly be sittng on the bumpstops, you will shag your standard shocks out 10 times faster than normal and it wont really help the handling at all. If you want to go cheap get a set of second hand lowering springs and a set of shortned and stiffened shocks if you want to go lower than 30mm as going lower than this aint recomended on standard shocks you can get a set of springs out of the classifieds for next to nothing as the corrado G60 setup is exactly the same as the golf mk2 & 3 gti's or you could wait till inters to pick up a real bargain. Thats my opinions on the matter anyway

Rob If you want a motorbike exhaust mate GET A MOTORBIKE :D No seriously I think the only way to go with exhausts for the corrado is the standard look 6x4 oval in stainless of course!! I think a carbon can would look a bit perculiar on a fairly standard lookin C thats my honest opinion, but we all have our different tastes so if you think it ll look good on ya mota then put it on you can always take it off again if you don't like it and flog it on!!
