  1. what other stuff are you after?
  2. ROADHOG Try Awesome gti store if you want that exact spoiler on the grey c as it is a Zender spoiler Awesome sell it for £199+vat if you go to http://www.awesome-gti.com/ and then click on prices and go to the corrado section you'll find it under rear styling!!! Or just go to http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/corradoprices.html And the good thing is they're in the UK so you wont have to pay any duties on it, unlike if you order it from the states
  3. The Etka cd doesn't have any part numbers for the scuttle tray coz it dont exist!!!! I' ve already had a look!!
  4. From what I gather there isn't a a cover that goes over the wiper motor or the centre section in the scuttle panel there is only the section on the right hand side (nearside) that has a cover I thought mine was missing at first when I bought my corrado 2 years ago but haven't seen a corrado yet with it completely covered I could be wrong but dont think I am. My golf mk2 had a complete plastic cover over it and thats why I thought it was missing at first but have been told by several sources they never made a complete cover for the corrado which seems a bit strange as the wiper motor and all the contacts that are on the top are open to all the elements
  5. Nah not that stupid it obviously wasn't the right conditions too damp and cold I have run 15's before so I know the car is capable of sub 15's once I get the charge cooler on and get the fuel mixture setup right I will be back on form and give you a run for your money!! :D I'm gonna take my car to a mate of mine who does MOTS he can put it on his 4 gas tester as mine is only a 2 gas tester and get it fuelling just right. I will be putting a Thread on here and the club Gti forum in a week or so for the 16th or 26th I haven't decided which date I m gonna go on yet. Hopefully this time we'll get more dubs to go as it was a pretty poor turn out there were loads of subaru's, rovers and renaults but only a few of us. :?
  6. Alright jules The wheels were struggling to get traction it was very slippy out there as you will probably know as you ran up the strip!! How did you do by the way my best time of the day was my last with a time of 16.374 and a reaction time of .34. I was seeing 12psi on the gauge it went up to 13psi at one point. Will you be attending any of the rwyb's next month I'm thinking of going up on either the 16th or the 26th if anyone wants to come as well!!
  7. I think I need to get the mixtures setup on a proper 4 gas emissions tester as my 2 gas one is a bit of a hit and miss the car seemed a bit flat in third I'll get it looked at hopefully befopre the next meet!!! My times with the tyres at 30psi produced times of 16.9's and with them set at around 20psi I got times of 16.4 but that is probably down to reaction time, so I cant really tell what bennefits lowering the pressures had!!!
  8. I did a mixture of pressures the rears were at norm 30psi and the fronts started of at 28psi and after the first run I let them down to about 20psi cant give an exact pressure as I didn't have a gauge to measure them!!
  9. Traction what bloody traction!!!!!! :D It was a bit of a laugh I ve got to get that charge cooler on!!!! looking back on the timing slips my reaction times were spot on nothing above .99 of a second and the lowest being .34 the terminal speed were sh*t though cant really understand it, I have run 15's before without the chip and pulley I think I need to get it setup on a rolling road to get the best out of the beast!! Hey Andi that picture of the sunset when we were leaving has come out a treat my dad reckons you should try and sell it to the people who do the advertising for the pod as it is so good!! Next monthback down the pod to put in some better times anyone else fancy it this time!!! 16th feb and the 26 feb are the likely dates I will next be going. What happened to the pictures of me whipping the pug 205 Mi16?????
  10. Indded there will be chap!! Well hope you have fun at work then I could probably get you a standard backbox for a bit less than that if you want me to? Give me a shout and I'll see what I can get one for on monday when I'm back at work!!
  11. I got my de cat fabricated by RSR tyres and exhausts when I had the full system made I went for they're system as it was custom made to the spec I wanted, I think the custom decat pipe cost me £80+Vat, I really recomend powerflow exhausts they sound superb and the make the 6x4" oval tail piece as well so it looks factory fitted, just what I wanted really all in the exhaust system cost me £400 I think cant remember the exact price but it was around that!!
  12. Break the window mate and hit you over the 'ead with a hammer!!! :D
  13. mmmmmmmmmm look at those lovely 3 spokes!!! I like the yellow one so much I might have to mod mine like that!!!! :? :? how about painting it pink!!!!
  14. come on jim jim come along we need more corrado's to make up the numbers they're all golfs coming at the moment we need to put them to shame!!!
  15. ahhhhhhh poor old Tom feels all left out!!!
  16. At this rate I might not be able to take the corrado I think the Co potentiometer has gone up the duff because it's running way way too rich Darren sent a new one too me on friday and it still hasn't arrived probably gonna meet up with him tonight to get another one as it's getting too near the weekend for my liking to sort out the problem if it aint that :( By the way it's my B'day today happy B'day to me. I'll give youi a bell tomoz Andi to arrange sunday with you, hopefully I will sort the car tonight fingers crossed anyway!!
  17. cheers mate it seems that the heated washer jets and reverse switch are another weak point on the corrado quite a few of us that have had this problem by the looks of it!!!
  18. Yep going again this year I've been going for the last 5 years unfortunately I missed last years due to work commitments but I will defo be at the second new location for it this year. Still think the TRL is the best location for it, its a shame it's had to be moved I dont know what last years location was like but hopefully Brentwaters will do the show justice and have enough room for everything!!!
  19. Tell me bout it Tom I fix one blo**y problem then another one crops up or should I say another 5 it's getting rediculous now I'll be a fully qualified expert on corrados when I actually get my car running reliably I have already taken on everything that has cropped up so far and trust me I have quite a long list and a very empty bank account!! Still if I had a car that didn't go wrong I would get bored at least it can be fun fixing it!!! :?
  20. Hi Jim have you bled the whole system in the right sequence as recomended by the bentley manual if you havent I suggest you do the whole system again to get rid of all those bubbles, first off pump the brake 20 times and then fit your one man kit on the front left calliper and undo the bleed screw and drain at least half a litre of fluid out of it just to make sure there aren't any bubbles, after that is done do up the bleed screw and move over to the nearside front and do the same as the first one you did after that is done move to the rear offside (drivers side) and drain the same out of that one as you did with the other two and do it up, and then last of all do the nearside calliper the same as the rest and the brake system will be completely flushed, if after all that you still have have a pedal that goes straight to the floor when you press it you obviously have a split hose or something it's probably worth looking at the hoses closely first clean them off to check for any signsof fluid around them. If that doesn't sort it then I'm out of ideas mate. Oh yeah almost forgot make sure you take the cap off the resevoir for the fluid and keep topping it up dont let it go below the min mark!!
  21. No probs mate glad you fixed it!!
  22. I only did it the once :D wont be doing it again though !!!!! :(
  23. The callipers we get are made by XL and by getting them from me you will not have a surcharge as long as I get the old callipers back off ya!! The callipers are of the mk3 golf variety which are the original ones fitted to the late mk2's and corrados I believe. I can get em for around the £45 mark if you are interested Smiff ECP sell the goodridge brake hoses for £45 I think not too sure they're server is busy at the moment so cant 100% confirm that price.
  24. Yeah nice colour shame abot the bumper!!!
