  1. Smoked Lamin-X 8) and yes they do make my headlights dimmer, but i have the loom and some high watt bulbs so its not terrible
  2. I have Weitec Hicon GT coilovers and they are fantastic, i highly recommend them. Weitec are owned by KW, mine have KW all over them :D
  3. Yeah i wanted to get the grill/handles etc colour coded and de-strip the sides but at the minute im more interested in saving my money for a supercharger, and i quite like the black contrast.
  4. I have always used Toyo T1-R's, they are superb in the dry and very good in the wet. Mine are quite wide though on 9" rims and mines planted all the time, unless its greasy where no tyre will grip

    My VR6

That looks superb mate 8) got any plans for it or you keeping it standard?
  6. Cheers mate  but they havent dimmed the lights that much so can still see fine at night, just not AS bright as without them but i was expecting that so not fussed about it.
  7. Thanks guys :D It looks meaner in the metal, especially as it starts to get dark and it has the sidelights on, children actually run scared from it   I will sort out the bubbles with a few pin pricks, its quite thick stuff though so hopefully that will work. Next mod will be rear ARB's for a bit more stiffness and then start selling everything i own to get a charger  Rob.
  8. Yeah maybe, i will just put up with the dullness for now! I got more important things to spend my money on, like getting my arches sorted and saving for a charger :D
  9. Yeah pretty much  I have the uprated loom and some rally 130watt bulbs so they were quite bright before i put these on but now they are dull  look good though which is all that matters 8)
  10. Ok actually, not a perfect fit but they are better then the original sizes which were way off. If anything they have made these a tad big so they overlap the edges. Piece of piss to fit!
  11. Well i finally fitted my headlight tints from the group buy this weekend!! And she is looking EVIL   Oh and you may also notice from the pics that i have raised my car a tad as it just isnt practical until i get my arches sorted out :( Enjoy 8)

    VR6 Camber

Ok thanks for that mate its very helpful! Well im hoping to stop the wheels rubbing at some point so if i reseal them i shouldnt rub it off  I think the best bet is to get the arches pulled. I know wide wheels aren't sensible but i just love the look so much i will do what it takes to keep them

I reseal the arches after i grind them so it shouldnt rust. Lots of people have grinded them and resealed them i believe so i should be ok.

Yeah looks like it :( Do they have to be resprayed when pulled or is there a way of pulling them out a tad without having to respray etc??
  16. My vr is on 131k and runs smooth as a nut and got very good results from the rolling road day for standard!! Most things on mine works, sunroof, heaters, spoiler etc. Engine and running gear wise its superb and i reckon its got loads of life left :D

Im gunna just leave it and take some more of the arch lip away and see if it catches then.
  18. I think it looks spot on as it is mate tbh, if you had to change them i would say go wider as i love the wide look.

Yes he mentioned using shims. So you can get the shims that set the camber and just put them on? He was telling me about having to experiment with shims meaning taking it apart and putting it back a few times etc. Sorry if i sound like i know nothing at all but that is the case

    VR6 Camber

Hi all, I put my car in the garage yesterday to get the wheels aligned after fitting my coilovers and i asked if they could adjust my camber on the back a bit to help with the catching tyres. I picked it up this morning and apparently they cant adjust the rear but the fronts they could. Is this true? Has anyone else with a vr had their rear camber adjusted or is it just the other models that can be done? Furk'z for example - massive camber  Rob.
