i know the clifford feeling with the install, on my clifford 500 they put one of the proximity sensors in the middle of the car but the other one was put in the driver footwell behind the fuse box. Hmmm very useful. and its just a general mess behind the dash. They put the dash back with the wrong screws, just a crap install, i think i will rip it out and get another alarm put in. Beavisjem

Staying with the same colour. Looks less suspitious if i sell it. Just sourcing lots of little bits, trim etc to make the car perfect and then its off to g-werks for a little magic :wink: Beavisjem

Time for full resray, decided to strip it myself to save a bit of dosh, hope she looks good when i get her back. :) Beavisjem

I am having my corrado resprayed and i have managed to take out the rear quater glass with out it breaking :shock: 2 little problems 1 there is silicon on the car and on the glass, is there a product i can use to remove it? Also need to remove the glue from the doors. 2 there is a 10mm slice in the front side of the seal around the glass, it lies flat and you can;t really see it, just wondered if there was a product that would glue it and not distort or disolve the rubber Beavisjem

Well if you talking about one perticular one :) They told me they could make door barrel locks for my car, i walked outside and phoned them up on my mobile and they said bring in the tag with your keys and we will do them for you. They are normally pretty good. BEavisjem

Sorry to ask in somone elses thread but i stripped my car and looked in the headlining and i don;t have an ariel amplifier. Just the ariel base going to a lead with one thick and one thin lead and then running to the front of the car, i also ahve dire radio reception. Did VW forget to give me an amp. :( Anything i can do. New ones a pretty expensive i would ahve thought. Is there an aftermarket one i could attach in the headlining while its all off. Minght ahve to try Yalan's idea too, what is that part, the arieal base or a signal amplifier. BEavisjem

If it the rubber window guides then they are about £150 a side. Just found out when i pulled mine out and it ripped :cry: Beavisjem

Nope sorry, my corrado is in the spray shop over the next couple of weeks, FULL respray. nothing is wrong just want it to look like a new car. PM a price including delivery and we can discuss. CHeers Beavisjem

I amn stripping out my corrado to be resrayed. Does anyone know how to get the a pillar trim off, i can;t work out how the seatbelt height adjuster comes off, i can;t seem the get the knob off, and i can;t get an allen gey behind to take the seat belt adjuster bracket off. Cheers Beavis jem

In that pic Henny what is that part the radiator is sitting on, mine is pretty badley corroded at the front where the bottom of the front bumper goes. Anyone know where i can get one or how much they are. Sorry didn;t mean to hijack the thread. BEavisjem

Bc student, what car have you got? I have a K reg Black G60, i'm sure i have seen you about. I Have also seen the red one on the North Walsham rd, there is a Blue Vr6 near Norfolk car audio, (i think he works in pc world) there is another one in Barford out on the Watton rd. Another Red Vr6 in my village, a blue G reg 16v that shops in watroise (never waves :( ). And finally there is a green vr6 that parks in the chinese resturant on thorpe road. Its Just Crazy when its sunny there are just too many about. Was it you BCstudent parked in the Roys car park in Bowthorpe, it might ahve been Kvwloon. We could ahve our own meet in norwich. :wink: Beavisjem

I don;t know how to check, you ahve to go into valet mode to turn them off/on but you need the chirps to help you select the menu to turn them on. Can you turn the chirps on/off from the remote? Thanks for the help G60jet, didn;t mean to questiont he siren thing, just odd that the alarm goes off and the proximity sensor works but no chirps. I will have another look cheers

But i the siren works, the alram works, it all works but no chirps. I don;t think the chirps come from the siren. I haven;t had any problems with the alarm just no chirps. BEavisjem

OK i can do an alarm test so the siren is fine, and it also beeps at you for ythe proximity sensors. Just no chirps, and i can;t reset the alarm in valet mode because i can;t hear the chirps to get to the reset function, don;t really want to pay £100 to get it fix, just not yet. BEavisjem

I have a concept 500 clifford alarma nd its gone quiet. I ahven't checked the alarm siren yet but i don;t get and chirps. They just stopped. Any ideas, even if i go into valet m ode i get no chirps at all. What ever i do. Beavisjem Oh and can you transfer the warrenty from a previous owner

I am renewing my insurance and was wondering if i tell them i am a taxi driver (part time)will this improve my insurance as i use a company car to drive around will end up using my corrado only occasionally. Will this help, otherewise i am also a part time music teacher who teaches from home so i can say that is my job. Do they like taxi drivers or hate them? Beavisjem
