The later plain one on mine came off without damaging it. The scripted early ones are very thin
-
Sure it's Thursdave, or similar....... I'm gathering numbers just now but will be in touch with him myself soon hopefully
-
Fairly sure the price is now about £30. I bought one a couple of years ago and recently came across the receipt. Hopefully you'll get a better discount than I did :)
-
Go on then , PM me your details again mate :)

Finished yet? -
As the title says, must be in rust free, ready to fit condition. Just trying to save having to get my spares painted :)
-
I had the same problem with the 5th injector on my old valver, I unplugged it and left it that way for about 5 years, through winters as well and it always started fine, passed all MOT's that way too

Could I get a set please? :) -
 It's all in the bin mate :)

Cheers Mic, it's a Storm, and I've wanted one since I got my first Corrado, which must be over 10 years ago. Can't deny its a dog though but hopefully this is the worst it can get. As usual I'm in no rush so I'll just keep plugging away.......also really need to get on with the other one that's hiding in the garage

The collection of removed bits :)
-
I don't have any idea either Jim, but yes, it does look like he is a tidy worker, I'm sure he could have rushed it back together but I'm quite happy he want to take his time and remove all the bad bits
-
So, the rot was worse than was previously thought(if that's possible:lol:)inner arch rotten and some of the structural bits that I don't know the names of. All rust now chopped out and good bits ready to weld in, the guy ran out of time today and will be back on Friday Side Inner arch death Door/sill

 I'll tell you when I get home
-
Ha ha ha, not really mate. Considering the state of it, I can't make it any worse. Once the good metal is in place I can get it driving and get it a pre mot check etc and a quote to paint the side and bonnet, all will be well :)
-
The welder arrived to cut out the rot and weld in the repair pieces, those easily upset should look away  Only pics I have just now as I am working today so I had to skive out for a wee look :)
-
Welcome along, where about are you from? :)

There is a coach service that runs from Glasgow to various parts of Ireland, my sister lives in Derry and when we send stuff we put the box on the coach and they charge about £10-£15 for the box. No doubt there are similar services from most cities, maybe worth a couple of phone calls?

Hambourgini?

No business here  I'm just a mad hoarder :bonk:

I just make a point of not making any noise at night, no compressor charging/angle grinding etc and I'm lucky enough that I don't need to leave anything on the street, only 12 separate complaints when I built my garage  but I had followed the rules and there was nothing they could do, only a couple of the complainers left now anyway. Picture from last night, not showing the one in the garage and the 2 out the front

More balance

Guy on Scotvag selling some. Check out gumtree Dunfermline as he's got them on there too
-
Speedlines still on the bin but will be removed before its final journey 8), the one against the wall is now the non bin  Tank off for the welding purposes, better safe than sorry. Welder was meant to come yesterday but he had car trouble so it'll be next week. I also stripped the interior out so that'll give me a chance to give them a good clean/condition as they are pretty dirty :)
