  1. Good day all, I recently purchased a green Storm with the cream leather interior. Thing is, it's not all that cream, almost a greeny tinge. I bought the small scuffmaster kit from gliptone to see if the colour was a match, or lighter as I was hoping. The match is perfect for the colour it is now, so they've obviously matched it before. My reason for the post, does anyone know of a lighter shade of cream I can order to re dye the leather. I don't want to order 1L of the stuff blind Couple of pictures including an old trainer in the colour I'd like :) Lighter bit hidden Trainer for comparison
  2. Looking forward to seeing this too. Got to agree with the above, why talk down the values of the cars we all obviously like? I think it's a fair price for what'll be a sorted car for someone :)
  3. Cheers mate, I'll have a practice on a spare one :)
  4. Nice one, I know about the costly switches lol When you say the back windows are easy, any more info, like a quick how to do
  5. Very nice indeed, did you remove the back windows? Easy enough to do/replace? Any more pics of the headlining etc :)

    Running fault

I'd check all the leads are seated correctly on the plugs and double check they are in the correct order on the coil pack before looking any further. I guess you've not had a look at it yourself then?
  7. Here you go http://www.the-corrado.net/showthread.php?3167-Emergency-Ignition-Switch-Bypass&highlight=Ignition%20bypass%20Hotwire
  8. It's the VR6 grill badge he's after mate. If only they were that cheap :) Edit: too slow
  9. Transponder ring on the ignition barrel plugged into the wee black box and seated correctly?
  10. Here is the pictures mate, doesn't seem to be a part number on the cap though. Very similar to the Corrado one.
  11. Ah, sorry mate, totally forgot about this, I'll get a pic etc later on
  12. Fairly sure they all rust off, I think I read somewhere it's not a big deal, in place in case a spark is created while filling up. Here is what it looks like on a removed tank And where it should be
  13. No surprise there mate, it's gonna be a cracking buy for someone 8)
  14. No mate, the above are small triangle clips. Fairly sure you'll need the whole part of that thing.....which I might have? I'll need to check though. Your other parcel was posted today btw :)

  16. Are these not available from classic parts?
  17. No easy answer to that one mate, the late ones are glass(think early ones are too)and are bonded into the plastic housing unit that holds the indicator.I guess the late ones break easier than the early ones? Long since obsolete(I think)so now becoming rarer and more expensive. Possibly available new through classic parts......I'll look later if I get time :)
  18. Welcome along mate, I have a breaker(2 actually) and one still has the headlining in it, I'll check the condition tomorrow. Close enough to collect as well :)
  19. Got one on a breaker here in Glasgow, no way of testing it at the moment though. You are not too far away, you could possibly pop up and try before you buy? :)
  20. My switch gave up the ghost a couple of years ago, I bought one from a sharan vr6 and swapped the external casing, did the job nicely. Only difference was the direction of the wheels. Like the one below http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=252019829054&globalID=EBAY-GB
  21. The relays for the heated seats are behind the passenger rear door card, got to be worth a look to see what's going on. Central locking pump is in the boot, beside the fuel cap, under the rear speaker Behind the drivers side rear card is the control unit for the central locking/electric windows(I think that's what it does anyway )
