  1. Got a breaker here with a gearbox still in it, I'm afraid I don't know what the crown wheel is? Might well have it though :)
  2. Happy to collect it mate, makes payment easier too. Let me know where and when and I should be ok to meet up :)
  3. Fuel filter, cabin filter, oil filter and sump plug for me please mate :) And the 2 mirror glass also please :)
  4. Fairly sure(at least I hope) that I removed this when I robbed the teves20 stuff from the old (late)golf VR I had. I'll look tonight and get you a number/pic hopefully
  5. As above, have had the Toad ai606 on both my Corrados and both time they have been faultless. I'll be putting one on the Storm once its roadworthy too
  6. No mate, it's the Gliptone liquid leather stuff, seems to do a nice job, the real test will be the front seats as they are dirtier and drier. The photo does well to hide all the wee marks, so not quite as good as it looks
  7. Tonight I cleaned and conditioned the rear seats, still got a few small marks on them but much cleaner and smellier :)
  8. The seats do look spot on, very nice indeed 8)
  9. Looks great mate, nice job on the bonnet foam, the ignition switch isn't too bad, fairly sure I ended up getting to the screw from above after trying from below, getting it back in was the worst bit. Let's see some pics of these seats then 8)
  10. I had a similar, occasional misfire. Turned out the back middle lead wasn't seated on the plug correctly. Worth a look, and free too :)
  11. Nice one, working ok now? Mine felt like I had put a new starter motor in when is changed it
  12. Stick up a picture, I've got various corrados in partly stripped state, should be able to help if I know where to look
  13. I can see the ad mate, also spotted the first one, that was in cars for sale? Pity I'm a bit skint
  14. Nice one, always nice to hear about the solution to a problem:)
  15. That wouldn't be a classic green drivers side wing hiding in there, would it? Love the S2, had a Audi coupe quite a few years ago, was always impressed how well built it felt
  16. No progress to report as the welder hasn't been able to manage back, mostly due to the wet weather, yes, it's been raining up here quite a lot  I started stripping all the inards from the crusty drivers door, and found another nice bodge(I think) on the central locking part? A spring attached to the top part? Who knows what for, obviously didn't re use it :) Also had trouble getting out the reverse threaded screw on the door handle......someone must've had a real hard time with that in the past
  17. Ah, a little bit far for me :)
  18. Where abouts in the world are you mate?
  19. You carry on Chris, I was merely commenting, I plan to try and reuse the script ones for myself.....maybe one day I'll become a seller
  20. The later plain one on mine came off without damaging it. The scripted early ones are very thin
  21. Sure it's Thursdave, or similar....... I'm gathering numbers just now but will be in touch with him myself soon hopefully
  22. Fairly sure the price is now about £30. I bought one a couple of years ago and recently came across the receipt. Hopefully you'll get a better discount than I did :)
