Have a look at this guide for re tumbling the lock, not saying you should do this......I certainly don't fancy it but there are some pictures and info that might help http://wiki.the-corrado.net/re_tumbing_locks.html

What else you got?

Got to love a shiny red Corrado.......and that one is very shiny, not usually a fan of those lights but in the setting with the car looking so clean, they don't look as horrible as usual.

No thanks necessary mate, it's a pleasure to work(considering how little I've done)on such a nice car :afro:

The part number is the same as the grey unit......I have compared them side by side. I'm sure there will be other numbers but I was comparing it to one from a mk3 golf highline

Mine was a really sluggish starter, to the point I very nearly bought a starter motor, then one day it wouldn't start at all, I bought an ignition switch and it worked first time, and my starter was much much much better. Not saying that's your problem but if it's never been done it's probably a good idea

If that's the right one (can't check on my phone) then it's a bargain, I bought one almost 2 years ago from vw and it was £32 if I remember correctly

Have a look at these, found previously by science http://www.tdnparts.com/corrado-eurolight-lock-knobs-with-adjustor-knobs/

Nice, what paint did you use?

You could bypass the ignition switch , which will rule it in/out http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=3167&highlight=Ignition+switch+bypass

It's on the throttle body

Not exactly liking the colour, but it looks very clean and well looked after

And check you have the leads on the correct part of the coil, it'll still run if you swap one over, just not very well, and yes, I have experienced this

It was listed as a potentiometer when I bought it.....sadly I couldn't tell you the difference between that and a switch:)
