Agreed on the even tuning spec. It's too much hassle having to create a new car every week. I'm not gonna be available for the last race on the 14th. Valentines day responsibilities. Any chance we could postpone till the week after, or do the last 2 races this weekend? Not too fussed if not. I would like to not miss the last race though. Anyone else in the same predicament??

Very "laggy" tonight, I fell foul to it on the 3rd or 4th lap, Alex appeared on my bootlid from nowhere (not your fault mate) and I ended up on my roof. Still was happy enough to finish 4th. Only 2 weeks left now chaps! :(

Yeah that's a US spec front bumper, rare over here but not impossible to import I wouldn't think. As for relocating the washer jets, I'm pretty sure someone on here used MK4 golf jets underneath the rear edge of the bonnet when they replaced the metal bonnet for a carbon fibre item. Dunno who that was though, it might have been CorradoVR6Turbo. Have a search for +MK4 +carbon +bonnet. HTH

To be honest mate, I'd look for a set of audioscape door pods for the front. They allow you to fit 6.5" woofers and are far more solid than the plastic factory pods. The factory fitted pods are just too flimsy and the original size speaker just isn't big enough to offer much improvement, even if you fitted amped up components. I went down the route you're thinking of to my expense. Ended up getting the audioscapes, a good set of 6.5" components and a decent amp. MUCH better quality sound for not much more than upgrading in original sizes. Hope this helps!!

Renewing mine in a month, been with HIC but will be leaving if they can't match £413. Last years was £560! Thats with 4 yrs NCB, kept on road overnight. (I'm 33 :( )

Going by those figures, 3000 odd passed, and 2000 odd failed, so still 5000ish left by my reckoning? Surely a good number the 2000 odd fails would have been retested??

from what i can remember it just tell you the error codes My 303.11 shows full descriptions, using a £10 Fleabay lead...

Only 5823 tests carried out. IIRC there were 9000 RHD UK Models??

A 94 VR will definitely be the later OBD type plug (looks kinda like a SCART lead), and not the 2x2 type. I got a serial connector but i don't think it really matters that much. USB connection can have some comms problems with the ABS ECU thoguh i think. As for what to get from ross-tech, I couldn't say. I got my software from elsewhere... :wink:

Dude, we quit out of the 1st race when we saw you come online so you could join in! Yan sent you an invite and you disappeared again! We waited around after that for a few minutes but had to start eventually!! Shame! your kidding me!? i waited for about 5 mins checking everyones status but in everyones it said in race so i left. gutted!!! :( No we quit out and waited, but you'd varnished. Like an old oak table... :)
