oh no poor you Nuggit, if it's any consolation I've a list longer than most kids lists to Father Christmas of things to do... and yes that's repairs not mods :( the only reason that mine had new alloys was cos one cracked - def not planned! -

bet you're glad to have your C back tho. I always am, despite the bill! -
omg matthewb1985, I knew someone would post something to make me feel better  JIMMI, the 3 RCs which are left are in my back garden! The 4th was scrapped as apparently it was too far gone to repair. They are in a bad way though - they are curbed all round and the BBS centre caps are beginning to peel. They were like this when I bought the C but didn't care since I had planned on changing them anyway. I was wondering whether anyone would be interested in them since they aren't made anymore (maybe as spares or for winter wheels) but then they are really rough and I only have 3...! anyone got a reliant robin?

well you are 101

shame they weren't all covered. Imagine the excitement at finding that lot! I'd be happy just finding the 356, drool...

I really want some taken too. I reckon in summer there should be a meet somewhere so we can all help each other out with this Sounds good 8) do you reckon we should open this idea to everyone and not just 95 blackberry vr6s?!
-
24V Renshaw, wow!!  I always liked the pics in your sig but that big pic is fantastic! I've got a lovely blackberry vr just waiting for that sort of attention so it can look as gd as herisites' if you want another project

know exactly what you mean CorradoVR6-n.o.s, but there are some jobs which I just never seem to have the money to sort and I really want them done :x at least mine hasn't been smacked like lots of others recently. My sympathy to those guys

this yr has been expensive and the mot isn't due til march... 1. coming home from christmas, broke down. new tensioner needed 2. broken headlight switch 3. OSF tyre down to thread on inside due to cracked alloy (apparently not all BBS RCs are good) and not repairable. Didn't like the RCs anyway so gd excuse to change them and yes I know loads of you like them - I've seen the thread! I'll post pics of the new boots as soon as they're fitted but some of you willl see them at the south coast meet next week. Reckon I'll get a mixed reaction but I like them! Thing is that I still have all the other probs to sort but not much a bank acct. I still love my C tho :luvlove:

yeah it does. It looks like a muzzle -
yup look worryingly like punto lights to me :pukeright:

have to agree with mattosmond, yes it's a safety concern but just seems like another revenue grabbing exercise to me otherwise why isn't all that davidwort mentioned not specific too??
-
^^^poor poor rado  someone needs to buy and give a hug and make all better again

...on board stickers. especially 'princess' :pukeright: . bl00dy stupid the lot of them. 'oh you've got a baby in your car - I was gonna drive into the back of you cos I thought it sounded like fun but I won't bother since there's a little 'un on board' :censored: really winds me up. as if the people in their (usually hideously oversized) mpvs are so much more important than anyone else on the road rant over :ignore:  oh and stupid stick-on-pram-handle type high level spoilers often found on novas, saxos etc
-
no chance of that - my car gets treated loads better! reckon I live in it longer too given the amount of rush hour traffic
-
got to admit I use V-Power too. I'd go out of my way to get it if necessary
-
ice=norice maybe he should be a Fairweather driver (sorry - someone had to say it  )
-
loving the photography - I want to be able to do that! cars don't look bad either  Welcome!

and Richard Hammond mentions it in (the 'go for' section of) What Not To Drive. I quote... A very classy car, discreetly good looking and still a real performer... and it's in the section that says 'they come from a time before the nanny state throttled all of the fun out of most things in life, some still have that snarly edge of danger missing from a lot of safety-obsessed modern stuff' good old Hamster!

this sort of thing makes me soooooooo angry. why do some ppl think it's within their rights to take something that belongs to someone else esp when doing so much damage in the process? total ignorance, jealousy and lack of respect. I'd be gutted if that was my c - I was mad enough when some little sod nicked my valve caps (about 5 times - got boring in the end) and my rear VW badge. gd luck with yr insurers.
