  1. I thought you meant the other way round! I have only just recently woken up tho.... :)
  2. I don't think so as I'm pretty sure the throttle body is electrically controlled on OBD2. You should be able to pick up an OBD1 mani on here for not very much at all.
  3. haha, i wouldnt necessarily blame the tyres for that :) a bit of over-enthusiasm and some off-line icy-wetness is how i prefer to look at it! indeed! I was chasing an M5 for my first spin and ice was definitely a factor on the second one. i think i had proxes on, but they were stretched and quite worn.
  4. Indeed I have, a few months ago now. Great group, great tunes. :salute:
  5. But having coilovers, surely you can jack up the ride height again to 4x4?
  6. My 13th birthday was on Friday 13th. It was actually a really good day before you say anything:)
  7. Hmmm, all the cars in the photos seem blurred. That doesn't seem very good to me, but I'm beginning to rue selling the PS3, this looks fun. Does the game still have a heavy bias to the Nissan Skylines?
  8. Err, surely not? I think finding and then importing one will be much more of a hassle. Henny has one. http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31059&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15
  9. Paid, should appear as Samael78. Forgot to put my username down :brickwall:
  10. 1300 quid is ludicrous, but i reckon they are quoting you for a brand new head from VW. You should pick up a 2nd had one on here and get it rebuilt for about a quarter of the price. And find a new garage, those guys sound like muppets.
  11. Have you taken your stereo and speakers out?
  12. Me! Have you pm'd the owners of the photos for the high res versions?
  13. Good man. I reckon bigger injectors in case you fancy getting a smaller pulley.
  14. I'm not a G-banger guy but general consensus on here is either G-Werks or JMR for your charger needs. Jabba 's rep hasn't been great of late.
  15. If it was my money I'd send it to G-Werks.
  16. So come on then Andi, what did you say on Twitter?
  17. Well the aforementioned person by the OP is breaking 5 cars at once and has also tried to sell some parts as OBD2 so he blatantly has no love or knowledge of the car and is out to make a quick buck from unsuspecting members. Which is not how we do things around here. Its a shame that are cars are now worth more as parts than as a whole, so some people will come on here and take advantage.
  18. I don't agree with the refuelling thing. I think its made it more interesting not having it as those outside the top 10 can decide to run longer and try to boost their position when everyone else is doing their pitstops. That wouldn't happen with refuelling as the front runners always fuel light and charge off in the first few laps, and those fuelled for a longer run get left way behind. But I do agree about the tyres lasting way too long. When you can do 30 or 40 laps on the super soft, what's the point of calling it soft? Surely they should last 20 laps max.
  19. Well yeah, but won't they get a bit suspicious if they get a load of freebie orders with the same pics? Anyway, 12 or so quid is not a lot to shell out, you can spare the equivalent of a quid a month surely?
  20. Another year, another failure! :( Perhaps one of the people who did it previously could provide the company details they used?
  21. No, there's a load of connectors on the OBD2 loom that the C doesn't use/fit and vice versa. Its a case of splice the two together until you have what you need afaik. A couple of peeps on here have done it themselves, have a butchers at this thread. Don't really wanna say too much more as I could be leading you down the wrong road, but am just telling you of my limited knowledge of handing it to someone else to sort out ;)
  22. The main beef is the loom mate. Bit of an arse from what I understand (especially if you get given an auto loom as I did...mass confusion until this was realised). Apart from that as far as I am aware, the rest is pretty straightforward, unbolt and replace. However I paid for someone else to do mine. Wasn't cheap but not bank breaking either.
  23. KV6 Problems temmed from, fan breaking, thermostat splitting, head gaskets going and then for me crack splitting :( . Yeah it did draw a smile when they described it as flawed. And pretty much all of BL wasn't? From the management to the workforce to the materials and quality of work and final product, all were pretty shoddy and badly thought about.
  24. I wish Speedlines were 7.5 wide instead of 6.5 Awesome wheel but just too skinny for the C, hence why I have been looking around for wider similar styles (but not Compo MOs! too much for my wallet atm) Oh well....
