I'd like this for my G60 if still available?
-
Thanks for the comments :) A few updates: From left to right, Recaros for MK2 and Recaros for G60. Both are very clean sets. Seats are as new and door cards likewise..... Little addition: ---------- Post added at 10:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:31 PM ---------- Most of the work is complete..... ---------- Post added at 10:34 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:32 PM ---------- Will be putting some tax on this shortly and then see what Id like to do next. This video has urged me to get it out for a spin. A pic taken at Dubshed a year or so ago. Aiming to get some tax on this during the month and get out on road.

Hi Dave, any left? -
Still available from VW. Around 60 sterling. Part numbers in my project thread.
-
Picked up this from US - leather steering wheel from a SLC (VR6 equiv). Will try it to see what it looks like fitted then make my mind up. Makes a nice change to the usual OE and it's in extremely good condition:

Belated happy birthday Chris :-) Nice pressie you got too. I must drop a not so subtle hint to my missus for same :-)
-
Sounds nice. As above more info and pics.

Hi, I'm swapping the interior and door cards from my car to a late version. Is there anything I should look out for in terms of physical fit? Electrical fit (elec window and wing mirrors)?
-
Hi Chris, what third party UK suppliers carry them or are you better just hunting on ebay?

The reg plate tub? You can get these brand new from VW classic parts dept in Germany for reasonable money. -
Bit by bit..... Something arrived in post a few weeks ago too: ;)
-
Interested in this topic too. Is there any other recommendations out there? Is there any quality 6x4 to replace rears or is dropping in a couple of speakers into rear shelf the only realistic option? I have a spare shelf so don't mind doing that but I think speakers on rear shelf look unsightly. If feeding cables from front to rear/boot what is the neatest route to take?
-
A couple for me too please!
-
What's involved and has anyone done it? Any help appreciated.

Clips were included with mine under the part numbers above on my invoice. Buy the roof strips while you can as they are likely to become the hens teeth of tomorrow!

from my build thread:

Some bits and pieces arrived Friday. Small addition but for what they are these mats were pain in ass to try and get.....if you live in Ireland! They are VW originals made by Votex. Full kit and quality is very nice. ---------- Post added at 09:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:08 PM ---------- I love the sound of the G60 on full song but for those moments in traffic I picked up this a few months back: Kenwood KVT-627DVD head unit along with some key accessories. Consists of the main wiring loom that can reach from your dash to the boot, IPOD Control unit(KCA-IP500), remote fascia, KVT-627 Brain. http://www.kenwood-electronics.co.uk/produ...627DVD/details/ http://www.audio66.com/product.asp?id=5339...391724206481481 This is it in action Pics Need to decide on speaker upgrades. Not looking to build a big ICE system but just a decent set up.

is there a definitive list (and pics) of the obvious and not so obvious differences between US and Euro models?
