  1. Bit expensive just for a grill. :( Does look shit hot mind.
  2. What grill, grill spoiler combo is that? Looks good. Any more pics of the front?
  3. Could you take pics of this please. I was looking to use the shift weight on mine as well but to be honest I not entirely sure what it is that needs replaced.
  4. It should just pop out. Try levering it out carefully using a screwdriver covered in masking tape.
  5. If I had a new modified shift assy to replace the standard one then is it just a case of unbolting the holding plate, removing the side to side rod then removing the cotter pin to release the cable? Refit in reverse. I have looked at the dieselgeeks website that mentions removing a portion at the front of the tunnel hole. Is this necessary to remove the side to side rod? Has anybody added the 8mm bolts that they also mention? http://www.dieselgeek.com/early_cable_s ... nstall.htm

    J's Car

Like the wheels. Compomotives arent they?
  7. Thats more like it. No messing about
  8. G60 is completley different animal to the 16v. If you like low down power then this is the one. I have had both and the G60 was soooooooo much better than the 16v. TBH I am dissapointed with the 16v as well and would have a G60 in a flash if I could.
  9. I work out my MPG rather than relying on the MFA. I get an average of 33-36mpg. Thats half motorway, half fast A road driving with the occasional blast.
  10. About £30 from Eurotek through thier online mail order.
  11. Ive used them twice on my Golf and now Corrado. They do lower the front but its only really about 10mm but this is often just enough to get the front level with the back. There are a few differnt available like Bonrath and JOM. I got mine from Eurotek but BigBoysToys and Venom have them.
  12. What Bilstein dampers is it that you guys are using?
  13. Any decent shortened stroke dampers should do but its the ususal you get what you pay for. Ive got cheap and chearful GMax shocks on and they are ok. There are loads available, Boge/Sachs, Avo, Spax, Bilstein that are not too expensive but I would save up for some top adjustables.
  14. try http://www.gsfcarparts.com
  15. Just do it yourself and keep recipts for the stuff. Thats all I do to prove its been serviced and on a 14yr old car most folk wont care.
  16. Well I got 5l of Quatum Silver for about £11 and a filter for a fiver.
  17. Needing done - full respray, coilovers, better wheels, turbo/superchage etc Getting done - nowt. Cannot be arsed.
  18. Get an OE filter from the dealer. There only about £5 and better than the Halfords stuff from what I have been told.
