I had to break my grill off then get my arms in to release the catch. That was the driver side though and your radiator will most likely be in the way to get the passanger side. Good luck!

Thats probably more do to with RWD and heaps of power.

Didnt work for me. Could you not use a fairly large sharp centre punch and place it angled near the outer radius of the bolt and give it a great big whack. This works wonders on smaller bolts.

I was under the car at the weekend and noticed that my exhaust system (Powerflow) had 4 silencers. There is the bin like one on the downpipe, one on the striaght centre section, one on the 2nd mid pipe then the 4th is the backbox. This isnt right is it? Surely 3 is enough.

Your Driver will have most of its power lower down the rev range than the 16v. You may just have to adjust your driving style as I have found out. Basically to get the car too move you have to keep the revs up. Nothing happens till after 3krpm. These 16v engines appear to need set up properly otherwise they are guttless. Unfortunetly the engine is not powerful enough for the size/weight of car in my opinion. As for the cornering then you are missing out if you dont push it a little. One of the best things about the car is the handling.

In my opinoin cloth is better but as these guys say use it as a bargining tool. As for A/C thats just more to go wrong and will screw the mpg fiurther. £5.5k tops for price. If subtle styling mods are choosen carefully then the silver C's look amazing.

i reckon it would be pretty good although being forced induction it was probably up against Subarus/Evo's etc. Still I dont think the yanks are that good at the old rallying fom what I have seen.

Sorry dont know the right forum for this. I bought one of those repair manuals (bentley) off ebay and I al having trouble loading it onto the comp. There was instructions but they aint very good. For a start it does not want to auto run the CD then when I open the disc up and double click the set up it lets me select the language but then nothing happens. Anybody else had probelms like this? Anybody have any idea what to to do?

Loose the bonnet vents and thats vnice.

Mine used to do that but doesnt anymore. Didnt change anything but I think it just the fluid level sensor taking the piss.

I'll vote for Supersprint as well. Ive had Magnex (on two Golfs) whilst ok was a bit heavy, Jetex (Golf again) very good and fairly quiet and two Powerflow systems on two Corrado's. One too noisey and the other ok but on my 8v Corrado I fitted a supersprint system that fitted perfectly, sounded just right and looked like the original pipe but chromed. They are expensive mind.
