    4th set of wheels in 6 months! Picked them up from Harry (in shit state) and all in it has cost me £75 inc tyres. All I need is a single cap to complete them.

    I was thinkin it was one of those mock up cars that look like the real thing but have no mechanicals etc. Wheels are just white OZ's and the brakes look too small + why would it be in tarmac spec for a forest rally?

    I am thinking of tinting the rear lights as there is no way in hell I am paying £140+ for the crystal ones. In general I prefer the all red efforts. However with a red car I think it may be a bit over kill. What would look better all red or black/red? Any pics would help.

    Azev E's do look quite good in 7.5" x 16". Stick to 7-7.5" for width and offset (normally designated by an ET number) between 38 to 33 and you will be fine. What are you looking for for the car? Just to make it look better or are you more interested in handling/ride? Remember you will need tyres as well. p.s. you dont have a spare centre cap for your BBS do you?

    My car had some of those supposed blue bulbs in it when I got and they are absolute crap. I have changed to plain Phillips ones that I had in my Golf and they are so much better with the uprated loom. Ive got the Osram high beam but havent tested them yet. Oh yeah, you get free sidelight bulbs from the comopany mentioned above but they dont fit.

    Its probably easier to leave 2 bar black first and see if you like it then if you want to, get them sprayed. You cant take the paint of if you dont like the look of all green if you get what I mean.

    Would the lens be legal? The O.E. ones have the ribs to spread the light pattern do they not?

    They are all bloody annoying!!! I also think Jeremy is not a god driver as the programme makes out. Tiff Needell (whilst still a bit odd) was the only motoring journalist that can really drive a car.

    That'll be the Red Top then? Why are Vauxhall so good at engines but shit at chassis.

    What about a weighted throw mod as on the Mk2 Golfs. Is that possible. I absolutely hate the feel and length of throw of the shifter.
