I'll be interested to see this as thats what I was looking at doing. -
Depends on colour. The lighter colours need the trim to break up the car.
-
Too late. Didnt get them.
-
Probably nicked.
-
Jesus guys!!! You need to get down the pub.
-
Any forseen? Car is lowered on Eibach springs. Need to know before 3pm.

I am looking at a set but the guy doesnt have the bolts and he doesnt know what kind they ar either. Suppose I could get a new set.
-
Do/can you run the original VW bolts with your alloys at are they generally different?
-
I was not having a go  its just I barely scrape enough together to run the car and do other things in life. Then I suppose I do have my bike to run which would account for my money. All the better for doing the work yourself.

Got in touch. They are moving to a new place in Kircaldy. Apparently the RR is already setup. Price is £50+vat. Seems ok to me. Lets hope that they can do wonders to the red tank.
-
Again....you buggers mmust get paid so much.
-
I got a hefty bill - oh and they gave me my C back with it !

Well if its anything like Dr Mat you should have only paid half that becasue none of those jobs is hard at all and you can do yourself. Only thing would be the alignment. -
Mmmmmmmmmmm.....drool!!!!!!!!!!!!

How much do Star normally charge for a RR session + set up. I am thinking about getting the car done just to make sure it is running right and to see if they can get anymore much needed power/torque. Do they do this on Sat or is it only during the week?
-
Nice!!! Lower and loose the all black rear lights though.
-
Taking the rear seats etc out will help but not too much as they are reasonably light in the first place. Spare wheel makes a difference. Weight saving plus chassis mods is the way to go. Big brakes are always a plus on the track but match them to the car. No point in having huge brakes that lock up as soon as you look at them.

Ive had wheels sent from Germany with tyres and it cost £60 so he is taking the piss or the are made of lead..
-
Holy jesus!! Where the hell do you guys get your money??? Had the car 3 months and it has cost about -£40. Sold the BBS and used the rest of the money to get other wheels and some new bits. Only cost £1500 as well.
-
Some of you guys dont half pamper your cars. The only people who are going to but these cars are enthusiats who will understand that a VW specialist probably has a better understanding of the older cars than the dealerships. All the dealerships care about is new cars & milking as much dough out you as possible (£75 an hour!!!). Anybody who thinks otherwise is delusional. I certainly wouldnt bother if it had been serviced at a Specialist even if it was a low mileage Storm.
-
Dont worry guys Ive had 3 Raddos already. Absolutely love them but I am just a power freak. Love NA cars as wells so it looks like it may get a little interesting. No 1.8t's for me. 3.1 V6 all the way!!!!!!! The gixxerr will just have to fill the gap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

coullstar replied to aposegil's topic in General Car Chat
On a whole are the G40 chargers a bit more reliable than the G60?
