True to form I swapped the wheels on the Boxster, think it helps modernize it a little. Looking at possible half ductail for it the one thing I really done like it the rear end on them. Been using it all week with the awesome weather and its brilliant. Handles so well and sounds brilliant.

Quick wash tonight in prep for a Classic car show about 5 miles from the house on Sunday. Ive also been accepted for static display at the Royal Deeside Speed festival in August which is kind of like a Goodwood event in this area. Quite chuffed with that considering the calibre of some of the cars in this area. Will need to get the bumper painted as it seems to gave reacted with something and paint has bubbled in bits. It was needing done anyway as there was too much lacquer on one section. Give me a chance to get the grill done as well as its not very flat.

Strangely I never really had poster cars when I was younger. It wasn't until the guy across the road got a brand new Mk2 oak green big bumper Oeetinger that I started properly noticing cars. 911 or Lancia Intergrale Evo have always been my aspirational cars. Had a 911 so may as well get a Lancia, lol I wish.

Id leave without, never liked that wording.

Yep did it on my last VR, they don't fit perfectly into the front air dam but you don't see them and they certainly help out. Tempted to get another set. As said there is a pre-moulded hole in the back of the arch liner so its and easy cut and fit.

Round the windscreen, fuel filler cap area, front of the rear arches where they meet the sills.

Their prediction wasn't quite right though, haha.

Am I missing the price?

If you look back at my VRT thread the front numberplate section was cut away. I then ordered a reflective stick on numberplate that came on a thin plastic backing. I then cut out the lettering (where possible)with a Stanley knife.

Only thing to watch for using a cover is moisture build up inside the car and also micro blistering on the paint. I had it happen with my old silver car.

Are you doing any ducting to the intercooler? Just seems like it is tucked out the way from any airflow.

First drive and you will forget any of the pain. There awesome. Out of interest what sort of timeframe are they taking the car for?

Looks nice, is it Aqua blue?

Couple more photos of the car from Friday night. Really chuffed with it in this state so much so Id decided to effectively take it off the road to limit miles and get another project. So Ive missed my 911 like crazy and wanted back in flat 6. Very limited budget so only one solution. A Boxster. Started looking at early ones and higher mileage. Spoke to a few people with them and one popped up for sale so made a offer which was accepted. So funds procured and flew down to Leeds and drove home at the weekend. Its need a bit of TLC on bodywork and a few mechanicals looked at but drives really nice and is 80% of what the 911 was at less than 25% of the cost. Decent spec and history so I'll work on the niggles and get it good again. Plan was to take the Corrado off the road completely but I got a very good quote for classic ins so I'll use it now again to keep it running right until the tax runs out near winter.

Ive seen this as well so could well be that. -
A freind just posted some springs and was £16 so say £65 all in?
-
Anyone want some spare struts? Say £15 a strut?
-
+ postage then yes.

Would be nice to get these out the way. Open to offers on springs only.

Open to offers on these.

You need someone to want the car so its going to be a very small market and especially considering other cars that you can buy for similar money. True they wont have the rarity or outright performance as this will but you need to be a proper hardcore VW fan to run one of these. You've invested a lot in the car but what is it you want from it, the performance or the fact its a Corrado? Dare I say it but it might be easier to swap out to a normal engine, sell the VRT package and sell the car as a normal VR.

Those 6 spoke Subaru ones look really surprisingly good. So use to seeing them with the higher profile tyres.

One rear is leaking and needs replaced. Springs are 35mm drop. Subtle drop with no issues. As said above I felt the rode better than the AP's I have. The rears you could replaced with non adjustable if need be as I rean them in mid setting which was perfect.
