Just bought this last week however I dont think Im going to fit it now. Its the 2 box system. Took it out to check it was not damaged during shipping. £310 posted.

Unsure TBH. I think the hangers are in different places. The system is listed for 16v, 8v and G60 I noticed but not early type.
-
I might be selling mine along with a mapped OBD 1 ECU if anyone is interested.

Folks, got my 2 box Jetex system at the weekend but I might not fit it now due to various reasons. If anyone is interested send me a PM.

Sports cat not worth it IMO for the cost.
-
Thats what I should be getting delivered this week.

Corrado virgin, is the storm edition worth the extra premium?

All I would say is dont put a long list of what you want together as you will look for ever for the car. You will not find your perfect car, there will always be something that needs looked at or changed to get it the way you wanted. Im on my 7th and with this one the only requirements were silver and VR6. Mine was completely standard and I think the better for it as I knew there would be no hidden issues. To the original question Storms are probably percived as being worth more but surely its the same if you sell so you are no better or worse off than if you bought a standard VR. -
Some cool photos. My missus told me she passed a Corrado on a trailer on Friday near Edinburgh. Wasnt till yesterday I realised it must have been you as she said it had a number on the side. Silver Rangie as tow car? Just shows the difference a race set up does for bodyroll, here mine with a failry hard road suspension for comparison.

Well you promtped me to order a Jetex last night. 2 box system, have one on the RS4 as well and it was a doddle to fit and sounds perfect, not loud just at all. Depending on condition of the standard I might actually just sell it if anyone is interested as I have too much stuff lying about and I doubt Id put it back on if I have a stainless. Would be a good use for the box the the Jetex comes in as well plus it would be more of use to those who want originality.
-
Im still tempted to get a Jetex for mine and put the standard system away as its pretty mint on mine, well the rear box at least. It just seems like one of those items that is going to be uber rare in a few years.

Jesus that really does sit high. Love the mpg, Im still tempted to go and look at that local 8v for sale to use for commuting.
-
Really, do they have any engines left? Might buy a head as that is bloody cheap. You will soon be a prof at dying the seats!!
-
Nah, Ill pass.
-
Jetex before Milltek. Milltek are not as well made IMO.
-
Cool, might come and watch some time. Good luck. Is this the same class as Ali with the white Mk1 Golf 1.8T?
-
Having been there and they way the market is the S/C would be better option as you could return VR to standard. Thats if your looking at it purely on resale. On a technical side, R32 everytime. It really depends on how long you are keeping the car for. a standard VR will become more and more sought after IMO.

£217!! Thats bloody cheap is it not?
-
What tyres are on the RZ's?
-
Didnt realise you had turbo'd, does it have standard gearbox and diff?
-
I always use the plug hole indicator. IIRC it should be the back left cyl that is at TDC, whats it for?
-
Hi, interested in the ECU. Who did the map? Im assuming its a straight swap OBD1 for standard VR?
-
Mmm, okay. Was hoping it would be at least 35-40mpg. Pretty much using the VR now as a daily to keep me putting to many miles on the RS4 but doing 25mpg at best on the commute I started considering a £1k tdi of some sorts that I could abuse however an 8v has popped up close by. I only do about 75-100miles a week commuting so with 35mpg it would take a while to recoup the cost of buying another. I suppose the positive is its petrol so no smelly diesel tractor noises.
